I recently had a confusing, misleading experience with Cactus Credit that I want to share as a warning to others who are thinking about using them. I called and talked to a customer service rep last month. I wanted to see if I qualified for their consumer proposal program to consolidate some of my debt. I thought I made it clear that I was just inquiring and that I wasn't going to go ahead with the program until I had time to think it over. I signed up with this company 6 months ago. They advertised they can increase your score FAST. 6 months later and a $1000 lighter my score has remained the same. They don't follow up with emails or return your call. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, SERIOUSLY. if there is inaugurate information on your credit file call *******or **********yourself. Don't sign up with this company.

this is the worst company. i contacted them because they said they can help with removing inaccurate info from my credit score. they told me to pay 600 upfront and then 118 monthly if needed. they gave me the impression that everything would be completed within 2 months. its been four months and nothing has changed on my credit report. whenever i call they give me the run around and you can never speak to a supervisor. This company is a ****. Stay away from them.
Got mislead into believing that Cactus Credit could help me and some debt issues. I submitted the documents as requested. Paid my high non refundable fee. Told everything looks good and will be in touch with a trustee. Trustee then said **** ***** **** **. They then took another payment out! I was on the phone with them for 20 minutes trying to get my payment returned to which they said no one is available for that. I’ve called several times trying to get to the bottom of this voicemail as I take it very seriously. I'm getting the run around from the get go, these people took 2 payments totaling nearly $530 out of my account in one day. I had no money in my account, which is why I'm looking for credit support. I spoke with Tom from debt management department 3 times today, who told me my $96 NSF for them bouncing 2 unauthorized payments through my account would be refunded after he spoke to billing. 12:18 He returned my call and said I should receive a refund via etransfer to my account.
