I am a friend or relative of a resident After surgery, they put my mom is at Caring One at Valley for rehabilitation. The facility is fine. The nurses are wonderful and give attentive care. The rooms are okay. It is five minutes from my home so I can see her every day.

I am a friend or relative of a resident Before my dad went into a hospice, he stayed in Care One at Teaneck for a couple of months. It was a very good facility. Their staff were very nice and very capable. They were very caring to my father during his short stay there. Sadly my father passed away just this April.

I am a friend or relative of a resident I chose Care One because it was close and I was able to access it every day. It was a good place and my husband got extra care there. The aides were wonderful, the nursing staff was wonderful, but I didn't appreciate their management. They didn't have enough activities for people who were in rehab. The food was good, but I wish they had fresh fruits instead of canned fruits.

I am a friend or relative of a resident My cousin is in a very good facility which is Care One. I chose this facility because I'm a dean at a college and our nurses are there. She goes to movies, they do manicures and they do exercise. Everyday there are at least four different activities. What I like best about the facility is that they're keeping her and bringing her these activities as long as she's capable of doing it. She's not sitting in a room or lying in a bed. I am a past client of this provider CareOne is clean and most of their services were fine. The staff treated my mother well. However, I think they didn't have enough staff. Mom had a little wristband for protection so that she couldn't get out of the facility. But she did get out and it could have been a disaster. And they did not tell me that happened. I am a friend or relative of a resident My father-in-law was in the rehab center before he went into CareOne. The food was better, they gave him a lot of attention, and the place is also convenient for my sister-in-law to visit him, so they decided that's where they wanted him. They like the care and the physical therapy they're providing. We're really pleased with it.

I am a friend or relative of a resident We placed my Grandmother at the CareOne Assisted Living Facility in Parsippany, NJ almost two years ago after my Grandfather passed away. It was a difficult time for my Grandmother, but the staff at CareOne was extremely compassionate and made my Grandmother's transition much easier. While she misses her old house, her apartment at CareOne is perfect for her. I visited this facility My mother was at CareOne for about six weeks. The facility was fairly clean, however it wasn't until her stay that we saw how care was provided to patients there. First, the facility is highly understaffed. Many times there were only one or two aides for a floor of about 20 patients. If a patient required or requested a bath sometimes the aides could not complete them by the time the facilities lights out. The attitudes of some of the aides was poor. I am a friend or relative of a resident My husband was a resident here for 6 weeks. He has MS and needed rehab. They were wondefful, from the young lady who met us at the door when we first arrived to the last person who walked us to our car when we left every person we saw was great. Thier rehab dept was great and got my husband moving again. His only complaint was the food, but I supplemented that everyday, he came home 8 lbs more than when he arrived. If you or someone you know needs care I reccommend this facility.
