CareOne at Hamilton was okay, but it was too commercial. It was more of an office feel. It would not have been a good fit for my mother.
I thought this place could use some improvements that I noticed during my tour. There was an odd smell throughout the entire place that just did not sit right with me as well as much needed updates in the property. The patients also did not look very lively, they all seemed very lethargic and depressed. It was just not the right place for my mother.
CareOne Assisted Living in Livingston NJ should be re-named to "Care for EVERYONE Assisted Living”! They are not just there for my 91 year old mom, but they are there for the entire family. I was overwhelmed by the professionalism and personal service each and every one provided to our family, but most of all to my mom. I visited Care One Hamilton over the weekend and was impressed with courtesy of their staff, newly renovations and overall cleanliness. We would recommend visiting this community for memory care or assisted living.

I liked this community when I toured it. The person that took me on tour was nice. The community looked clean. They have beautifully landscaped outdoor courtyards and they allow pets. This community was just a little out of our price range.
We are very happy with the care for my father. The staff was nice and very caring. He was happy with the meals. He did participate in some of the activities that he did enjoy. we would recommend this community for other families for care and good value.
My loved one did a short respite stay at this community. The individual staff members he worked with were nice and good at their job. It did seem like there was not a lot of coordination between the staff. They knew he was coming and they did not have a room for him in the assisted living section so he had to stay in the memory care unit. He was ok with the food. The community is clean and well maintained. This community had an institutional feel to it.
This is a nice community. We do like the friendliness of the staff. This community is clean and beautiful. She is happy with the meals that are available. She is all always busy with a lot of the activities that are available for her to the other residents. We have been happy to see her doing very well. I recommend that other families tour this community for the care of a loved one
