This community has given me mixed emotions about the care they have provided my loved one. I am very concerned with the night shift and how long it takes the aids to get to my wife after she rings her light for assistance. She can not get up or down by her self so when she has to go to the restroom or has an emergency they can not be taking up to an hour to get to her bedside. The food also needs a lot of work, the vegetables are always over cooked and they do not offer many choices for diabetic residents. The administration... read more
The concern, care, professionalism, and ability of the people who took care of my husband was exceptionally fine. All the caretakers were enthusiastic, friendly, and caring. Everyone interacted with him as much as was possible; they made him laugh and were careful of where he was tender or sore. If I had to find one negative, it would be the accounting of monies paid. It is not a matter of dishonesty, just a matter of confusion. The facility is lovely and well cared for. I would recommend it others.
I'm another one for not writing reviews, but for the few that are worth it, I will. This is one of them. My husband and I are extremely pleased with the services of CareOne at Morris Assisted Living. My mother will be 103 yrs. old the end of this month (Nov. '16) and she has been a permanent resident in CareOne since Feb. '16. She has been in for respite stays over the past six yrs. My loved one has received great care at this community, she really enjoyed the meals and would often participate in many of the activities. The entire staff team was constantly making sure that my mother was comfortable and safe in her new living environment.
Like many families, we needed help to find care for a parent in a very short time frame. It is an unsettling endeavor and you don't know if a facility will be a good fit. But we were so lucky to find The Cupola! My parent is well cared for on every level. He is treated with respect and the staff are very playful and engaging. We never worry about him because we know he is being looked after like he is family! I would highly recommend this facility and its staff.
Our aunt moved to Care One Moorestown after a difficult and sad experience at another facility in Mt. Laurel, NJ. She is almost 96 years old, is in a wheelchair and has moderate dementia. At the last facility, she was in her room alone all day. Due to her dementia (and her personality), she did not really participate in activities and didn’t even want to go to the dining room for meals. We had a good experience during my mother stay here. It is a great community with kind people. The location wasn't the very convenient for our families to travel. I wasn't very familiar with the area. The staff was kind and helpful. It is a very nice community, I was very pleased with our experiences.
Good so far. Very new facility. Very clean.
The staff made my mother in law feel comfortable when she had her respite stay at CareOne. They were warm and friendly. The food was good and there was a good variety to choose from. The community was clean and well maintained. We would use this community again.
