Get directionsI toured this community when I was looking into options for my loved one. This was a nice looking place, it was clean and well kept, and the staff all seemed very friendly. It wasn't the option we ended up choosing, but overall it looked like they would be able to provide good care and comfortable atmosphere.
We have some experience with the community but were not overly impressed with it. It looks fine, and the care seemed alright, but we found another location that really blew us away, so we went with that one.
I liked the facility, but it didn't seem like they had the activities that she would enjoy. The food was wonderful!
Everything at this community seemed fine, no issues regarding cleanliness or staff, but nothing in particular grabbed me. We toured quite a few, and found one we liked more at a better price.
Before selecting a place for my mom to live, my wife and I looked at a number of assisted living facilities. CareOne at Morris had everything we were looking for. The rooms were larger with high ceilings, the bathrooms allowed you to sit on a bench inside the shower which is a big plus for an older person, the staff was courteous, and the price was competitive. My father is being very well taken care of, they're doing a really good job of taking care of him, these folks are much more engaging, getting him involved in a lot more activites and not just letting him sit in his room all the time. They jsut reach out to engage much much more, I know that they just converted a section to have more rooms so the size has been a factor but they whell him into bingo even though he can't see but he can hear and they keep him entertained and engaged. He has the benefit of being in the assisted ... read more
I knew an older lady that lived there. It was really beautiful but I didn't like the smell. I'm really sensitive to smell so I wasn't crazy about it because of the smell but it was beautiful and everbody was very nice.
I very nice facility. Food looked really good and the apartments were nice. They offered a great respite stay rate. I was specifically looking for consistent bridge games, scrabble and maybe Mah Jongg That wasn't a shoo in here. I do think the level of care is very good
My dad was there for a week of respite care. I know these things are expensive but they seem very nice. The woman that I delt with, whose name I can't remember right now, was very helpful. When we first toured there was a certain kind of easy chair that my father liked but when we checked in his room did not have one. Well she and I physically moved a chair from one room to his room. She had a real can-do attitude and I really appreciated that.
