I am a friend or relative of resident One star is not very well deserved, actually. Nice building, OK rooms. Food - you need to be very healthy and very hungry to eat that. Patient care - practically non-existent. You need to stay with your loved one all the time, so that you could hunt down a nurse or an aid when needed. Otherwise they'll never stop by, I don't think. They all have a lot of fun hanging around and chatting about stuff though. Even if you manage to find someone, takes perseverance and some begging to distract... read more

I visited this facility My father was in Care One before he died. The rooms were very small. I had eaten there, and the food was horrible. My father was not diabetic, but his life was like of a diabetic where they get all swollen. I wanted a special bed for him where his legs would be elevated, and yet they would just leave him in a wheelchair for hours, and nobody would even pay attention to him. It was a shame because I heard that many Care Ones are very good.

I am a friend or relative of resident Watched a patient wait 30 minutes today to be transfered to the bathroom as she rang her bell repeatedly. Staff came in and left to " get help" this happened after she received a waterpill...I agree with the earlier post..run don't walk. Family members have little to no say on care. Staff don't return calls and have no lecabilty to family and patient requests....hard to see your loved one there

I visited this facility The place was the worst --- my family member had to wait 2 hours -- not just on one occasion but several for pain meds. The staff did not even tell the patient what medication she was taking, there was stool on diaper cloth pad-had asked to get a new one--and they tried to wipe it up with washcloth instead of getting new one, smelled musty and when requesting stuff like magazine or soda didn't get till the next day. Horrible place especially if a patient can help themselves.

I am a friend or relative of a resident We didn’t care for Care One too much. They said they would do rehab and there was rehab, but then they stopped and he regressed. When he left the facility, he was a lot worse than when he originally went in. They have enough training, and they have staff, so maybe it wasn’t them; my father is not a great patient, and he was kind of stubborn. You couldn’t get any answers from the staff. You asked questions, and you couldn’t get any answers from them. They are paying a doctor to come in,... read more

I am a friend or relative of resident Have had several problems with this facility. The administration staff is never available (except for Donna), if you are unable to visit the resident and call there, either you are put on hold and left floating in the air for min. 10 mins, max 35 mins, or whatever time you are calling the nurses are to busy to take the call, yet when you do go up there, they are all standing around. Very frustrating and totally unacceptable.

I am a friend or relative of resident Well to start with I thought this was a good place for physical therapy but, I am wrongStarted out good then suddenly stopped. The doctor is not or to me seems like he's not to concerned with getting things done so I can get my dad home. Seems like to me they want to keep him to keep collecting insurance money. Then on to staff nobody there is very helpful the called bells got off and the patients wait ,they come in to shut the light off and say they will be right back and they come back... read more

I am a friend or relative of resident Nice place hides poor care. Nurses are aloof. Paints wait long periods of time needing help. Untrained staff. Blew off all my problems and requests. STAY AWAY!

I am a friend or relative of resident Do NOT send your loved ones here! My father was admitted on a Thursday night - they were redoing floors so he had to sit in waiting room until 8:30 at night. Then when room was done, they put him in there where the smell of the glue was so overbearing it made you sick! It wasn't until the next night that they moved him in to a different room. Nurses were rude and unattentive, they acted like they were being burdened when you called them! They even went as far as to tell my dad "you may h... read more
