I am a friend or relative of resident They do not provide compassionate care. They all were beyond awful and very unprofessional. Upon arriving, my mom was given a bed without sheets. They seemed annoyed and bothered for asking for sheet to put over the mattress. They forgot her in the restroom when she had to try to bath herself with a piece of cloth. I am a friend or relative of resident My mother was pushed into this facility on Christmas Eve by the hospital after surgery on Dec 23rd for a diabetic ulcer on the side of the foot resulting in the loss of a toe. She was moved to the facility to receive intravenous IV antibiotics for 10 days. at age 78, mom is an independent woman who still works. Where do I begin? I am a friend or relative of resident This place was horrible. My mom had a stroke and the physical therapy dept horrible! Every time you asked a question the answer would be we have I look into it. Mom is home now, we have a physical therapist coming to the house. He said he wouldn't even send a dog to this place! Stay away.
I am/was a resident of this facility I kept a 5 week journal while in rehab in Care One in Morristown, NJ. This is the worst facility to ever be in or have a loved one in. When I couldn’t get out of bed myself I waited 35 minutes for help and no one came. Finally a nurse was making her rounds and I yelled to her to get me help to go to the bathroom. I have had many issues... my father has dementsia and they have said he is combative...in the 8 mos he heen here I have never witnessed aggression...they have sent him out 4 times to hospitals for psychiatric evaluation...all 4times hospitals did not witness aggression...the Care one doctor and psychiatrist can not claim to have personally witnessed any aggressions ...claims from aids... my father likes to walk around and they find it irrita... read more
I am a friend or relative of resident the nurses and c.n.a.'s are nice and attentive, they are the highlight of the facility. Lots of activities. it's a shame the administrators are poor communicators and lack real caring. look elsewhere first but know that the really important workers are caring. i am leaving with a sour taste due to the lack of communication...
I am a friend or relative of resident This place is terrible. Please spare a loved one from going through what my mother did. Her glasses were stolen, had 3 falls while in their care and they missed giving her chemo medication for over a week. Needless to say I brought her home early. They should be ashamed of themselves!
I visited this facility My mother was admitted to the rehab facility at LHCC, for several weeks, after a short stay in the hospital The physical therapy facility and therapists were wonderful and have helped my mother get stronger. They get an A. The nursing staff and aids were wonderful as well; They also get an A. In my opinion they are short staffed and with not enough help; medications are delivered late and there are long wait times for assistance with help going to the bathroom and/or going to bed. I visited this facility Two bed rooms very small for residents, especially if pt needs walker or wheelchair. Furniture too bulky, take up too much room. Bedspreads are pretty, but bulky making it hard to wheel wheelchair around their corners. The elevators are very small Only one is large enough for stretcher. The wait is long. In an emergency situation, this could be life or death for the patient. There is too long a wait for Bathroom assistance, and medications.
