Assisted living has declined substantially. Activities, food, care and attention to detail need substantial improvement. Staff is a revolving door. Disappointing and expensive. Management is cold and inaccessible. Go elsewhere.

Assisted living has declined substantially. Activities, food, care and attention to detail need substantial improvement. Staff is a revolving door and the best people, loved by residents, were fired or quit. Disappointing and expensive. Management is cold and inaccessible.

First may I say, the name should be CareNone. My brother was swayed to put our father into Harmony Village as the rep explained that our father would get better care. If waiting more than 30 minutes to get to the bathroom is efficient, no wonder we needed to supply him with more depends. The food looked and tasted awful. Their family nights were a good idea in theory but horrible. Their physical therapists would walk into the residents room for a session. If the patient would say 'no' the PT would walk out of the room and bi... read more

When shopping for a home for my mother I was told by Lie #1-[name removed], in admissions that CareOne Moorestown was an "age in place" facility. After 2 months I got a call saying they could no longer care for her, she needs to leave. Lie #2- they report to The County Office on Aging that they do not accept Medicaid, but told me they do. Lie #3- [name removed] told me there is a "bed hold rate" if residents have to leave for hospital or rehab stays. This was a reduced rate from the regular rent, separate from personal care ... read more

My father, 88 yrs. old, had Alzheimer's and laryngeal cancer. I dealt with the social worker at St. Mary's Hosp. in Passaic to help place my father. I asked if Care One would be able to accommodate his needs. She spoke with someone there & explained his situation, so I felt they could take care of him. But after getting there late evening the respiratory doctor told my brother & I to go home, get some rest, they know their jobs, they'll take care of him. They didn't have two important medicines he needed when we got there & ... read more

My father was here for around a month. It was one of the worst experience we have ever gone through. He did very well from a heart valve surgery, but once here he had a sore that festered into a stage 4, two fist size to the bone bed sore!! Do not trust this place to care for your loved ones. He never made it to his hip surgeries, because he ended up not surviving all the infections acquired due to this sore. Care One relinquished all responsibility. I remember a doctor yelling at the nurses for something and at the time I d... read more

You can not speak on this place if you where there for couple hours. I was a patient there for rehab. I had back surgery and went there for physical therapy. Therapy was great. I ended up in ICU, if it wasn't for my daughter I would be dead. They didn't clean my wound for the first four days. I got an infection, the nurse over dosed me with to much of meds, I had to choose either take shower or get my support stocking. I was admitted to hospital with blood clots in both legs, kidney failure, infection. Was in ICU for 6 days ... read more

I wish I could give this place no stars..that’s how bad it is. The food is absolutely AWFUL. AWFUL!!!! The nursing care is passable.. but I’ve seen unanswered call lights, heard patients moaning for the nurse( while they sit behind the station doing nothing ).. the aides are great. They really seem to care about the patients. Therapy is good. Not outstanding. Social work is also good. If you’re looking to put a family member here, don’t. Go somewhere else. I am also filing formal complaints with the State.

Pay attention to the fine print in the contract. When you are in a bind and need to find immediate care for a loved one you tend to gloss over the fine print. My mom went out to the hospital for 4 days in early October and then on to sub-acute care for the next 13 days before passing. When I received the final accounting I found out to my displeasure that CareOne continues to bill for general care medical supervision at 100 % for 3 days and at 50 % for another week despite being in a hospital and then in sub-acute care. The... read more
