I understand everyone needs to make a living but I truly do not understand how changing out 2 faucet valves under the sink can cost $175 per valve even after a $75 discount. The contractor did a good job and correctly but the prices are outrageous.
They do not charge by the hour, they charge by each project and it seemed like they are all the same price! Very pricy!

How do you look an old man straight in the eye and say that replacing 2 plastic parts in your toilet tank will be $250.00 and not even blink. The parts were $10.00 and it was done in 20 minutes. That means the labor was $750.00 / hour.
Paid $200 to have a bathroom faucet installed and sink still not connected to the vanity, employee didn't know how to do caulking when I called to complain.
Cass Plumbing quoted me $220.00 to change two control values and lines on my toilets, A job that took 30 minutes with maybe $40.00 in parts, then charged me $440.00. but gave me 20% off. Do not fall for there gimmicks, like your chance to win lottery tickets or 20% off prices inflated 100%
Was told I needed this and that for the repair. The cost was $155.00. Then did not show up for our agreed appointment. The problem was resolved by me which was a salt bridge and through the internet at a cost of zero. I will no longer use Homeadvisor!
price started at $250, settled on $150 but they would not guarantee work. vert poor!
Replace leaking toilet bypass valve and two exterior rusty water bibb valves. Cost: over $600! Tasks might have been completed in <1.5 hrs, but plumber had extensive issues with replacing toilet bypass valve. Told plumber that it was good that it took longer (3.5 hrs) for repairs, else I might think I was OVERCHARGED.
