Cass Plumbing quoted me $220.00 to change two control values and lines on my toilets, A job that took 30 minutes with maybe $40.00 in parts, then charged me $440.00. but gave me 20% off. Do not fall for there gimmicks, like your chance to win lottery tickets or 20% off prices inflated 100%
Was told I needed this and that for the repair. The cost was $155.00. Then did not show up for our agreed appointment. The problem was resolved by me which was a salt bridge and through the internet at a cost of zero. I will no longer use Homeadvisor!
price started at $250, settled on $150 but they would not guarantee work. vert poor!
Replace leaking toilet bypass valve and two exterior rusty water bibb valves. Cost: over $600! Tasks might have been completed in <1.5 hrs, but plumber had extensive issues with replacing toilet bypass valve. Told plumber that it was good that it took longer (3.5 hrs) for repairs, else I might think I was OVERCHARGED.
Had another company come out and tell me the leak in my yard next was going to cost $550 to replace a section of main water line and charged $55 for estimate. Cass Plumbing came out and actually dug at the leak and found it was a leaking sprinkler pipe. $55 to fix.
Service on 3/16/2-2-. Way too expensive. For 1 hour and 20 minutes worth of work to snake from roof for the kitchen stoppage and augured toilet. Pulled back baby wipes was $420.00. We have had to snake from roof for the kitchen stoppage before and it was only $180.00. Big big difference. I will say that the technician was very professional. I would not recommend them because they are too expensive. Shop around.
I contacted Cass when I found I had a leaky pipe in the attic. They were able to get a plumber out to me within 48 hours which met my needs. He actually showed up 2 hours early. He quickly diagnosed the problem. He presented the estimate, $478! But I was entitled to a $75 new customer discount so it was only $403. So fine, I said - go ahead. He was done in 45 minutes. So this project started when I went to replace both tub drain shoes in my master and guest bathrooms because they were severely corroded with very deep pits. I ran into problems with the one in my master bathroom when the crosshair braces in the shoe broke and the flange broke off. I couldn't get the shoe out. Let's just say mistakes were made and I thought the shoe elbow was trashed with the shoe threads still stuck in the elbow. A pleasant young lady called on Friday and scheduled my appointment for Monday @3. A call came through around 2 pm on Monday. I didn't answer because my caller id showed the call was coming from Woodbridge, VA. If I had known the appointment call would be coming from out of state, I would have answered.
