I contacted Cass when I found I had a leaky pipe in the attic. They were able to get a plumber out to me within 48 hours which met my needs. He actually showed up 2 hours early. He quickly diagnosed the problem. He presented the estimate, $478! But I was entitled to a $75 new customer discount so it was only $403. So fine, I said - go ahead. He was done in 45 minutes. So this project started when I went to replace both tub drain shoes in my master and guest bathrooms because they were severely corroded with very deep pits. I ran into problems with the one in my master bathroom when the crosshair braces in the shoe broke and the flange broke off. I couldn't get the shoe out. Let's just say mistakes were made and I thought the shoe elbow was trashed with the shoe threads still stuck in the elbow. A pleasant young lady called on Friday and scheduled my appointment for Monday @3. A call came through around 2 pm on Monday. I didn't answer because my caller id showed the call was coming from Woodbridge, VA. If I had known the appointment call would be coming from out of state, I would have answered. About an hour later I noticed a voicemail from the missed call. I returned the call and it went straight to voicemail. Their flat rate pricing is too expensive, and they did not fix the problems. They would not come back to fix the problems, even though I had paid them. Do not hire!

They arrived when they said they would, returned when they said they would and billed me exactly what was quoted. The project ran into after hours but they stayed at it until it was finished. We wonâ t hesitate to call them again.

They were three hours late for our appointment. When they said it would take two hours I had to reschedule. They required a deposit to have them back on Monday at eight am. Yes, they arrived at 10:45 and did not bring the correct equipment to complete the job. They had to leave for two hours to obtain the proper pieces (one would think that they would have brought them with them since they were here before and knew what needed to be done) and finished the project at 4:15pm...

The gentlemen sent out did a fine job, but I had a bit of sticker shock when they told me the cost of a job that took less than an hour. I thought I did my homework, but was taken aback when the job was $225 with the $75 first time user bonus. If this had INCLUDED the garbage disposal, it might have been easier to swallow. I don't understand why it should cost $300 for less than an hour's work.

Some other plumbing company (Ray Duncan Plumbing Today) hooked up our new sink after new counter install so when the garbage disposal started leaking I called them and they didn't hesitate but said the disposal was corroded and wanted over $700 for a new one. Told them no and called Cass. The man that came out also didn't hesitate but started tightening the top ring. Said it wasn't installed properly and that the disposal was not corroded. It has stopped leaking. $55.00 dollars to fix as opposed to $750 for new one from Ray ... read more
