I began having flu like symptoms that came on rapidly and strong around 7pm this past Monday evening. Let me preface that I have been a Registered Nurse for 24 yrs and know that if given Tamiflu early enough, symptoms can often be reduced. I had a friend take me to Borrego Urgent Care who is also a Masters level educated Registered Nurse. I signed in at 7:30pm and filled out paperwork. Don't go!!! This office is straight out of the Twilight Zone. Horrible thiefs! They will make your appointment on false pretenses, telling you yes, they can help with your ailment. Then once you've paid your copay and actually "see" somebody, they tell you they can't help you. They don't wish to help you. They won't help you if you need a prescription. When i saw two stars overall rating for this place, i was shocked....shocked that it had any stars. Heres my experience with this place that should be completely shut down. I was visiting from Oregon when I began to have chest and head pain. I went here. I was hooked up to an ekg machine that read that I was fine. A nurse or admin came in and said they were waiting to see if I should go to an ER. Two then came in and said they were having difficulties with my insurance, oregon health plan medicaid. Lee Bella .Mandap is the most caring and genuinely compassionate person at this location but the appointment setters need some guidance and collaboration with each other and they need to get a better phone system for appointments..Makes absolutely no sense to be on hold for 30 plus minutes..They need more Jocelyns Edith and Liz's

Unfortunately I had to bring my kids to this clinic knowing how they operate... now I'm pass the 2wk mark and I have yet to hear from their referral coordinator Regarding a Neuro referral for my daughter who is still suffering from headaches. At any medical setting you have a 7day waiting period to get prior authorization response from the insurance company and get back to your patient's.... sorry but this is horrible patient care and sorry but I'm taking my concerns elsewhere

I had two bad experiences here. I had tonsillitis which is my tonsils were so swollen I couldn't swallow food and painful to drink water. I went in to get antibiotics or something to help me. The doctor was in the room with me for like less than 10 mins and she literally handed me mortin and Advil. I just couldn't believe it. My second visit I went to get blood drawn out and the girl that was doing it looked like she was a trainee. She poked my left arm three times and she couldn't find my vein. Once again, a horrible experience at this place (not a shocker) For starters, I was waiting in test results (Monday would be 3 weeks) I was promised a call back, and no one bothered to even give me a phone call. I have to make the phone call and I'm told I need to go for a follow up, couldn't have the results over the phone. I go today and of course they tell me I can't be seen because I don't have a doctor (WHEN IN FACT I DO) they wanted me to change doctors for another time even though I told them I have an appointment o... read more

The doctors are not very experienced with their work. A certain female doctor made an unnecessary comment about my weight. They take the longest time ever just to get you in a room. Once you're in the room, it's about a 15-45 minute wait. The doctors are talking amongst theirselves in their office instead of working.

Disgusting place with disgusting staff. They treat everyone poorly & talk about patients like they're the worst enemy. Awful behavior. Definitely not patient care focused like they claim to be. They're more focused on how they can get away with doing the least amount of work while still collecting a check. The young ladies had a lot to say about myself, my child & several other patients.
