Crew was hours late. Even after being called and told they would be a couple hours late they were 4 hours late. Framing material was dirty due to handling with dirty gloves / hands. None of the corner joints (45 degree cuts) lined up and were filled with putty as well as along the frame. Multiple nail holes and visible nails throughout the wooden framing. We had none of these issues with the installation of our large front window by one technician.
Champion Windows of Colorado Springs is a debacle and failure at the installation of their windows. I have had nothing but trouble with several windows the installers put into my house. Quality of window is fine. I have been contacted several times, problem has not been solved, it has been going on 8 months.
Used Champion last year for install of upper windows. Great crew and workmanship. Most recent install two weeks ago was with a different team. Very poor performance and supervison this time around.
They need to work together and schedule together and if you're not going to show up at someone's house at the scheduled time then have decency to call them, especially so they don't have to end up calling you. The installation crew was phenomenal, but the lack of communication on Champion Windows part was frustrating.
When you expect professional widnows that are customized to your wants and needs it does not happen.
The installation crew did a rush job, smoked cigarettes in and around my house and left their trash. They didn’t remove all of the old window and have told me they won’t fix it that it’s ‘just cosmetic’ and the person I was referred by still has yet to get their referral fee. The people in your company don’t communicate and don’t care.
We hired Champion Windows to replace all the windows in our house, along with 3 windows / sliding doors that required altering the exterior wall and installing a header. It was a large project with a hefty price tag. Everything started out fantastic, but quickly went downhill.
