I went to Chelsea Eye Ophthalmology for a consult with Dr. Coad to discuss my glaucoma and cataracts. Dr. Coad and his team were great to work with. They have the latest equipment and I was given a very comprehensive exam. I ended up have stents put in each eye to relieve the eye pressure (off daily medication) and cataract surgery which gave me clear vision where I no longer have to wear glasses. As scary as LASIK can seem, Dr. Coad and Elizabeth, the LASIK coordinator, made the entire procedure stress-free from start to finish. They were professional, courteous, and extremely detailed in answering any questions that I had. I highly recommend at least getting a consultation (which is free) if you're at all interested in vision-correcting surgery.

I've had a wonderful experience with Chelsea Eye Ophthalmology. At the recommendation of a friend, who also had glowing reviews, I scheduled a LASIK consultation with Dr. Coad. Elizabeth, the LASIK surgical coordinator, is kind, personable, knowledgeable and made me feel completely at ease. Dr. Coad answered all of my questions and assured me that my high prescription wouldn't prevent me from having a successful surgery. The team at Chelsea Eye Ophthalmology made Lasik such a breeze! The doctors explained every step of the procedure while it was happening and answered all of my questions (and I had a lot to ask). Lasik Coordinator Elizabeth was wonderful - she let me text her any time with questions or advice, which was so helpful. I'm now four-months in and am still seeing some halos and occasional blurriness, which I was told is normal. So glad I went through with Lasik and am already recommending it to my contact-wearing friends.

Chelsea Eye Ophthalmology was a great experience. Elizabeth, the LASIK coordinator, was extremely helpful from my consultation visit through surgery and post op visits. I went in for my consultation and i was scheduled for surgery the next week. The staff made the experience extremely easy and comforting as they assured me i was a great candidate after performing a number of tests. The surgery itself was a breeze and there were no surprises. I was really indecisive about getting LASIK for awhile, I had read a lot of reviews about Dr. Coad and Elizabeth and figured I'd at least go in for a consultation with them to see if I was a candidate. I am a great fan of Chelsea Eye Ophthalmology! I was referred by a friend who had gotten LASIK a few months ago and had a great experience, and I have to wholeheartedly agree with her.
