I recently had cataract surgery in both eyes performed by Dr. Coad of Chelsea Eye Ophthalmology. From beginning to end, the staff at Chelsea were thorough, patient and knowledgeable. I first met with Dr. Jason Yeung, who was so friendly and knowledgeable and who performed my initial eye exam before my meeting with Dr. Coad. My Lesik surgery was a huge success. I had a relatively high nearsightedness prescription (negative 10 with some astigmatism) and I began seeing crispy 20/20 right after the surgery was completed. I had none of the after surgery side effects like halos, dryness, or temp. blurriness in one eye. I stopped in here today because my foldable Ray Bans lost a screw. Wasn't sure if they could fix it. Both of the associates we're very nice and helpful. They even fixed my glasses for free. Will definitely continue shopping here

Our family was visiting from San Diego and our airline had misplaced my daughter's luggage. Being visually impaired is no way to see NYC and she was distraught. Our ophthalmologist contacted Dr. Coad's office and they gave my daughter a pair of lenses and cleaning kit- gratis. She was thrilled because without these contacts attending her special Teen Vogue event would have been impossible. We found Chelsea Eye Chelsea Ophthalmology to be very professional and kind. Thanks again for saving her day.

I'm pretty sure people write their first reviews on a horrible experience or a great experience. For me, it's clearly the latter. My experience with Dr. Croad and his team has been nothing short of fantastic. I first met with Christine, who is pretty much an angel. She guided me through every step of the entire process and really took care of me. She thoroughly explained everything I needed to know and I rarely had to ask any questions. I had a fantastic LASIK experience at Chelsea Eye. Dr Coad and Christine are so helpful and make you feel extremely comfortable during the eye surgery. My recovery was very fast and they checked in every few days after the LASIK. Chelsea Eye takes great care of you from pre to post LASIK surgery. I wouldn't have gone anywhere else!

I cannot tell you how amazing Dr Coad , and Christine were. This process was for my fiancé who "had " a -7 eye sight prior to PRK. It is the morning after and she already is at 20/30 with light pain. Everyone is so helpful and we felt like they truly cared which is hard to come by these days. Being in the customer service field myself I cannot tell you the last time I had such close and careful care taken of myself and not to mention the patient.
