Very impressed – Less than 48 hours after my iLASIK surgery, I have 20/20 vision and no eye irriation to speak of. I attribute my successful result to multiple visits with Dr. Coad and his attentive staff. Unlike some of my friends' experiences at other places, I saw Dr. Coad every time I visited the office. Kind, Attentive & Thorough Care – They squeezed me in when I was really stressed out about a twitch in my eye and I appreciated it tremendously. All of the equiptment was high-tech, first rate, and MUCH more compehensive than I have seen elsewhere. The staff was super nice and patient and Dr. EViatar was very patient and thorough. I would definitelt use them an my eye doctor and specialist. Plus, I like the vanity offerings like Botox and stuff....maybe I'll squeeze it in to my budget later on:-)
Don't put it off any longer!! – I waited to get my lasik eye surgery because...well it was my eyes they would be working on and I didn't know who to trust with them. Until a friend of mine recommended Chelsea Eye...I had the best experience! The staff was friendly, they walk you through everything making you feel very relaxed. It really only takes 10 minutes!! Go check them out. You will wish you did it sooner!!
Accommodating Staff – From the receptionist to the doctor, everyone I encountered during my visit was friendly and accommodating. I felt like a guest of honor. Would recommend to anyone!
Careful – I guess it's a New York doctors office, but seriously... I thought doctors offices were supposed to be about helping people not all about money. Be careful if you don't have insurance and what insurance you have, they will screw you. In addition to the excruciatingly long wait (take at least a half day off work), I could tell the staff was disgruntled. Bad days at work shouldn't effect customer service. Beautiful – I've been a long-time patient of Dr. Coad's and now also see Dr.Eviatar for Botox/Radiesse and Jane for skin treatments. They make make shine while Dr. Coad keeps my eyes nice and healthy. Highly recommended. And I love the staff! They always greet me with a smile :)
Never going back again - wrong prescription! – I've been a patient at Chelsea Eye since 2007, and up until recently, have not had any issues except rather long wait times and the constant revolving door of doctors. However, I was given a glasses prescription by Dr. Bony (now no longer there) in June 2009, for which I then spent hundreds of dollars having the prescription made into glasses, only to discovered that I could not see out of them.
