I have been going to Chelsea Eye for a couple of years after my former Dr. failed repeatedly to get my prescription right. They have sophisticated equipment and a staff that knows how to use it, and they got it right the first time. This year, I had to switch to an insurance they don't take. But I have other eye issues, and when it was time for my full eye exam, I decided to pay out of pocket ($225) because I'd had such a good experience. I am a tourist, and having pink eyes during vacation is an unfortunate. Although I went to a different address under there network, the staff was so kind to squeeze me in for a check up. All doctors was welcomed and carefully explained my medication. When the doctor knew I was tourist, he was too generous to give me a gratuitous checkup. Thank you

Can I please take a moment and talk about how awesome Dr. Jay Yoon is?! I would be friends with this woman! I went in freaked out about a blood vessel on my eye and in total hypochondriac mode (is it a stroke? Is this connected to my brain? Is it gonna spread?). She laughed and calmly said "looks like you've always had this and it's fine and here are some drops cause your eyes are dry and here's my great primary doctor who I recommend since you don't have one." I don't usually post reviews, but I feel compelled to post this one. I have been a patient of Dr. Coad's for over 15 years and have frequently recomended him to those in search of a great eye doctor. Today I went for my post-op visit after my second cataract surgery in two weeks (I had surgery on both eyes), and the results are nothing short of miraculous. I highly recommend Chelsea Eye Ophthalmology! Dr. Coad and his staff are amazing. They deliver the ultimate in professionalism. Such a kind and caring group that makes you feel right at home. Dr. Coad performed a double lens replacement using the Symphony Lens and I now have zero cataracts and 20/20 vision. I feel like a kid again. At 63 that's a major accomplishment! I would give Chelsea Eye Ophthalmology 10 stars if I could. I just got LASIK there after wearing glasses and contacts for 35 years and I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Coad and his LASIK coordinator, Nicole, were thoughtful, kind and very thorough. I was evaluated, measured and tested not once but twice to make sure that I was an ideal candidate for the procedure. They walked me through every step and answered every question that I had. Elizabeth and Dr. Coade were incredible. I was terrified to get Lasik, and the two of them made it easy! They were comforting, professional and accommodating. I was seeing 20/20 on my one week post-op follow up visit... highly recommend!

Life changing! I recently had the iLasik procedure with Dr. Coad and I couldn't be happier. The facilities are very clean and organized. The staff are very friendly and thorough with all the information during every step preparing for your surgery. Dr Coad treated me for LASIK procedure. He was great, and so was his staff. Elizabeth helped me throughout the process and through post-procedure. My vision is now 20/10 and it's incredible seeing so well! Highly recommend!!
