Can I please take a moment and talk about how awesome Dr. Jay Yoon is?! I would be friends with this woman! I went in freaked out about a blood vessel on my eye and in total hypochondriac mode (is it a stroke? Is this connected to my brain? Is it gonna spread?). She laughed and calmly said "looks like you've always had this and it's fine and here are some drops cause your eyes are dry and here's my great primary doctor who I recommend since you don't have one." I don't usually post reviews, but I feel compelled to post this one. I have been a patient of Dr. Coad's for over 15 years and have frequently recomended him to those in search of a great eye doctor. Today I went for my post-op visit after my second cataract surgery in two weeks (I had surgery on both eyes), and the results are nothing short of miraculous. I highly recommend Chelsea Eye Ophthalmology! Dr. Coad and his staff are amazing. They deliver the ultimate in professionalism. Such a kind and caring group that makes you feel right at home. Dr. Coad performed a double lens replacement using the Symphony Lens and I now have zero cataracts and 20/20 vision. I feel like a kid again. At 63 that's a major accomplishment! I would give Chelsea Eye Ophthalmology 10 stars if I could. I just got LASIK there after wearing glasses and contacts for 35 years and I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Coad and his LASIK coordinator, Nicole, were thoughtful, kind and very thorough. Elizabeth and Dr. Coade were incredible. I was terrified to get Lasik, and the two of them made it easy! They were comforting, professional and accommodating. I was seeing 20/20 on my one week post-op follow up visit... highly recommend!

Dr Coad treated me for LASIK procedure. He was great, and so was his staff. Elizabeth helped me throughout the process and through post-procedure. My vision is now 20/10 and it's incredible seeing so well! Highly recommend!!

Elizabeth and Dr. Coad were the absolute best. They made the LASIK process so easy and I was very nervous but they walked me through every step. I now have 20/20 with no side effects and better vision then I ever have had before with contacts and glasses. They do wonderful work and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering LASIK!

I was a very happy with the services I received at Chelsea Eye Opthamology. I went see Dr. Coad about my cataracts. The initial visit went very well and I was pleased with the team and the care I received. Dr. Coad explained the cataract procedure to me clearly. I appreciated that level of communication. The day of the procedures I went to New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. The surgeries went very well and I had no pain during the procedure or after the procedure when I got home.
