In every way, I had a highly positive experience for cataracts with Chelsea Eye. I chose this practice because of Dr, Coad's affiliation with the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary (now part of the Mt. Sinai system.) You should be aware that this is a large medical office, probably 20 professionals on the staff. I had LASIK procedure with Dr. Coad and he is truly amazing. I am 20/15 after ONE DAY post op! He is kind, knowledgeable, and caring beyond anyone I have met. Nicole, the manager and LASIK coordinator, was also wonderful and gave me all the right answers. Procedure was seamless, quick, and no complications. It has been only 2 days and I can see so clearly! I don't normally write reviews but Dr Coad is the best Dr I have worked with. I had a chalazion on my for a year and after visiting other doctors who did the same procedure it still came back. After much frustration I changed to Dr Coad and after two visits it was resolved and it never came back. The knowledge, guidance and professional surpasses any other ophthalmologists out there. Thank you Dr Coad!!

Had an eye infection. I have never been to an ophthalmologist before. This clinic was fantastic. Walked in on wrong day, but they took care of me anyway. Doctor Liu was wonderful! Professional, knowledgeable, informative, friendly and responsive. Also very clean - COVID protections all in place!

I couldn't have been more pleased with the results of a procedure Dr Coad performed on my eyelid a week ago. He removed a growth from a very sensitive and delicate area that was very close to the eye itself. There was no scar afterwards when it healed. Amazing job! Shout outs to his staff of doctors, nurses, receptionists - all very good, especially Hugo, an assistant there. I strongly recommend this practice!

A college professor referred me here. Always desperately wanted to get the LASIK procedure done, because my natural born eyesight was terrible. Very pleased with my experience here. Friendly staff, very knowledgeable & down to business. Procedure was quick and very accommodating. Dr. Coad walks you through every step & tells you everything that is happening as he's doing it. Very pleased with my results! Highly recommend this place for anybody in the tri-state area looking to get LASIK done. A++++++

You won't regret seeing Dr. Yoon at this office. She is incredibly nice and friendly, and I love her sense of humor. She took the time to make sure I understood everything that was happening with my eyes and never made me feel rushed. I like her and her tech, Johnny, a lot! You'll definitely get the best care here!

Had a five star experience at Chelsea Eye! I went to Dr Yoon for an eye exam and she was extremely friendly, helpful and down to earth! I have met all the staff and they are very friendly and easy to talk to. Hugo in particular was wonderful to work with during the exam. It was a breathe of fresh air coming to this practice and I highly recommend going here for an Optometry appointment or Opthalmology appointment with Dr Coad.

I had the LASIK procedure done with Dr. Coad and Nicole last week, and I can't imagine it going more smoothly. They were supportive and friendly throughout the process, joking around and overall creating a comfortable atmosphere. I also appreciate them being so thorough with all the checks and clear explanations about each step. I'm excited to see without glasses now!
