Dr. Coad was really fantastic and thorough! I'm usually really squeamish about surgery and eye stuff in general, but this was super easy and the practice makes you really comfortable during the procedure. There's a free consultation to see if you're eligible (they run a series of tests over the course of an hour), then a pre-op exam the day before the operation, and then the LASIK takes less than five minutes and you don't feel anything (plus you're dosed on Xanax and Vicodin during it, just in case). They bring you not only their expertise in giving you the best in lasik surgery -- but their kindness, compassion, understanding and wonderful bedside manner is the best I have had ever experienced. I have been seen by Dr. Coad for the past twelve years. Glaucoma ran in my family as well as dry eyes and my vision had started to change. In a word: Amazing. This was the third place I got a LASIK consultation and after an hour with Christine, I knew I wanted to get it done here. Not that the other consultations weren't good, but Christine was incredible and caring and made me feel comfortable. I genuinely had fun at all my visits. Dr. Coad was recommended to me by a friend who had the same procedure and he was worth every penny! It was by far the best medical experience I've had in my life! I loved my experience here!! I got Lasik last week and they were so accommodating and caring, I truly felt like I was with old friends. The actually procedure was so quick and painless and after a good nights rest I was back to my life the very next day. virtually zero downtime! The esthetician Jeannel Astarita is AMAZING! I had IPL done on my face for my acne scars and some hyperpigmentation spots all over my face. It's been three months since I had PRK with Dr. Coad, and it's been nothing but amazing. Both Christine and Dr. Coad took great care of me before, during and after the surgery.
