Been a few times during the week. It has been busy every time and the wait for machines is pretty bad. It's a nice gym, just too busy.
Great gym, great price, and they always keep it very clean which I really appreciate. There's nothing worse than showing up to a dirty gym with broken equipment! Nothing too intimidating about this gym unlike some other places. Great customer service as well. I am hoping they bring saunas to this location very soon!
Today was my first day at Chuze fitness at Grossmont. I am using the 7 day free pass. All I had to do was walk in, show my ID and I was good to go! I didn't get added to an email thread or have to sit through their manager trying to get me to sign up. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I went around 7 pm and although the gym was full, there are 2 or 3 of every machine you need and a lot of cardio equipment. I never had to wait for a machine. I hate filthy gyms and this gym SMELLED clean! Very impressed with my first visi... read more

I've been around the block a few times and this is the cleanest gym I've ever joined. The staff is friendly, well organized and there are TV's everywhere on various channels. The noise level does not effect my personal headset volume. The age group is all over the place but no kids,(how great is that?) so I don't feel bad if I'm not making goal for the day. Everyone is friendly and keeps to themselves.

I have been a member of chuze for over a year and they are the absolute best gym I have ever been to! The atmosphere there is incredible. You never need to feel awkward or embarrassed about working out in front of people as everyone there is so nice and always minds their own business. This location is semi new so it's very big and spacious. They have a separate spin class room as well as a huge training room. And for $20 a month you can bring anyone you want, get tanning booths, a 30 min trainer, all the machines and big lo... read more

For the price you pay, this gym is pretty awesome! I like the fact that they have a ton of classes and machines to use. They also have a circuit room which comes in handy when I am being extremely lazy, it pushes me to not think about anything and just do the workout. The only downside is their tiny parking lot, but there is a good amount of parking in the shopping centers right around it!
Business response:
Hey Ekhlas, Thank you for writing the review. I really appreciate the feedback from the members and I'm happy to hear that you enjoy using the circuit room. As you mentioned the parking directly in front of the facility is limited, but the parking lot adjacent to the gym is very expansive and open for members to use. Thank you again for taking the time to leave some feedback and see you at the gym. Respectfully, Carlos Chuze Fitness La Mesa Team Leader
My go to gym. Go later at night when it's not crowded. There is a bunch of cardio machines and weights. I wish they were open later Frida-Sunday.
Business response:

Best gym I've ever gone to. Everyone that works there is super nice and welcoming. The gym is always clean and the equipment is great. If you want a really great class to go to I recommend cycling. Especially cycling with Rose, she's an amazing instructor!
