I got back to the gym after 8 yrs off and chuze was the perfect choice to get me back in the gym. I have tried the mission valley location as well. Great business model for the brand. I am a huge fan of the la mesa location. Thanks for keeping me stoked and motivated to stay on track.
I'm the type of average guy who gets the workout bug once every so often. Behind the beer, good San Diego food, and lack of motivation lies a man who desires little change in his busy life. Alas, working out is still a necessity for my job and here we are. This place is awesome. Incredibly clean. No really. They are constantly cleanning it. Whoever set (or maintains) the culture did a great job. The staff really cares about the facility and is very friendly. Haven't been to a gym in forever and pleasantly surprised! The only knock is that they don't have a scale available. ..seriously? This is a gym right? They said the personal trainer has one - which you have to hire separately. That's pretty shady. Would have easily given a 5 star but for that.

Great gym overall! New equipment and very clean gym! Highly Recommend!!! I wish it had a pool and sauna.
Very comfortable gym, meaning I never feel intimidated, checked out, analyzed, or insufficient to be here. I happily recommend this gym to anyone who wants a place to work out without all the excess politics, cliques, etc. (If that's what you want, it's ok, just go elsewhere). The facilities are always clean and in good working order. I can always access the equipment I need without waiting in a long line. They've got all your traditional gym gear. Good luck and enjoy!

so i am brand new to the work out / gym scene. since i didn't know anything at all i signed up for some personal training sessions to learn how to use machines and learn basic work outs, again i knew nothing and had never tried, and omg. Its been about 3 months now and Deb has been amazing, the best thing to happen to me all year. Each session is designed to fit my personal needs, she teaches me correct posture, gives me confidence, having social anxiety i have overcome so much and couldn't have done it without debs support.... read more

I love this gym! It was hard for me to get back out there and work out. I use to have a 24 hour fitness account but the gym seemed so uninviting. My friend invited me to check this gym out. I always heard great reviews about it. Now I know what everyone is talking about! It is bright yellow, and has so many machines that one can choose from. It makes you feel comfortable. I hate other places where you think everyone is looking at you while you try and burn calories. Here, people just zone out and focus on themselves.

Do not join this place. The broken air conditioner makes it feel like you are working out in a furnace. There is no plan to have it fixed. Doesn't make sense to waste your money here when there are other gyms that cost less with more tolerable conditions. The gym management said that the repairs are dependent on the property management company who doesn't want to pay for the repairs. SMH

The sauna is never warm here!!!! I bounce around between Chuze's in the San Diego area and I get so angry every time I come to this one bc I pay to use the sauna and it's always cold!!! I've been in here for 30 min and I barely broke a sweat. THEY NEED TO FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY!!! It's unacceptable
