No hot water one day. Free Wifi wasn't working. When we checked in there was a sign that there was no water temporarily. However they removed the sign while we still checked in and the staff ensures us that everything was taken care. Two days later we had no hot water and I had to shower with cold water. The free Wifi wasn't working several periods. One of the pillow cases was dirty (make-up) when we checked in. The complementary breakfast was worse than at all other places we stayed. dirty bath tub and floors.No bath towels & pillows bad experience! Not enough pillows, no bath towels just the regular face size. one tiny shampoo for two people but no conditioner, no shower cap. Bath tub and floors were very dirty specially around the toilet there were urine splashes from other guests.
Close to the freeway Pros: Good proximity to the freeway and fast food Cons: Room security Location: In & Out is a short walk, and it's a one hour drive to Monterey. The motel was great, however the room security was severely lacking. I returned to my room one evening to find that the staff had left my door propped open, fortunately none of my belongings has been stolen. The night staff were apathetic when informed. Would not return.
Overnight stay Pros: close to my family Cons: Staff and add a little more to the breakfast deal. Location: freeways near by and family The staff needs a training in customer service skills. They looked like robots...for the one night price, it is expensive for the type of service and the upstairs people were noisy the throughout the night. None of them smiled. Did not ask if everyone was okay? or even said have a great day!!! even if they don't mean it.
Dirty towels. No shampoo/conditioner. Alarm clock time wrong. I could hear someone from another room clear his throat. Overall it was a quiet stay with the beds I needed to sleep soundly.
Super 8 motel in gilory, ca All I can say about this place is that the walls are paper thin and you will hear everyone's cough, sneeze. Laughs and talks as if they are standing in your room.
A Bit Disappointing Stay Booked this hotel for the sake of price. It's the 1st time I booked a hotel rated below 4.0. It turned out to be a bad decision. The room is small. There is a used q-tip on the floor. Hard to get into sleep at night. Will not recommend it to a friend.
Not A Good Bet Pros: Nothing Cons: Tear it down and build a functional business man's hotel. Location: Good access to Silicon Valley Place is a dump. They are supposed to be remodeling. Lobby looks new... but don't be fooled by that. Carpet smells in the hallways. Rooms have been repainted, but big deal... like lipstick on a pig, Furniture is old and fridge barely works.. Beds are at least decent. Pillows,towels are crummy. Carpet in rooms is dirty. It appears that the place doesn't really have the bones for a decent remodel... read more
