My fiancé and I just left the Mervis Red Carpet Trunk Show going on this weekend. We had an AMAZING time working with Amber Salazar and I feel like she spent so much time (over 2 hours!) educating us about diamonds that I feel like an expert! After going to the Mervis location in Rockville and receiving poor/awkward customer service, I stopped by the Tyson's location. After talking with Amber, I informed her I had a diamond and wanted to know specifically about a Tacori setting and the costs involved. After 1-2 emails, she stopped responding completely. The service at Mervis locations in general are astoundingly awful. Do some research as these folks are mainly just salespeople, not diamond experts.
Folks here are more sales people than diamond experts. I only stopped by because there are only so many stores in the area that sell Tacori. The service was extremely awkward, ending with the gentleman demanding my address. He said he gave me his address on his card (mind you, the address was the store) and demanded I give him mine. I already gave him contact information of a phone number and email, but for some reason, he was adamant about a physical address. Fazken and his team were consummate professionals throughout the entire process and were very knowledgeable. Their candidness was also very refreshing and made the decision process that much easier rather than being confused and walking out of the store knowing less than when I walked in. I would highly recommend Fazken and his teams services to many other and have in fact already done so. If I ever need anything else, Fazken will be my first call!
My boyfriend now fiancé (Lance) proposed to me with this beautiful and FLAWLESS round cut diamond. He is a stickler for quality and he and the staff at Mervis Diamond Importers did not disappoint. They worked within his budget and helped him so he could proposed on our 3 year anniversary. When he described his experience there, he said it was nothing short of fantastic. Had a wonderful experience working with Monica on a remote/internet order for my wife's birthday. She was great with providing pictures and information via email in a timely manner and able to get the custom order in time for the big day. All in all had a great experience and would definitely recommend Mervis.
I went in to the Mclean location of Mervis with my fiance looking to buy two diamond wedding bands. The staff at Mervis were rude, took an exceedingly long time to help us, and then proceeded to treat my fiance and I extremely disrespectfully once a sales person finally talked to us.
