Mervis was the only place we needed to look for our diamond. Upon our first visit we were made comfortable and confident that they would provide the best diamonds. The head gemologist Fazkin was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, professional and not at all aggressive with trying to sell us a diamond. Long overdue review! What an overall amazing experience. I'd like to say that Dodi was an absolute pleasure to work with during my time shopping at Mervis. It all began just over a year ago when my fiancee and I were casually looking at rings at various jewelers. I randomly mentioned stopping by Mervis because of all the commercials I'd hear during morning radio (how can you not love those commercials? haha). We shopped here recently, and we knew what we wanted after some online research with other retailers (which I think helped the process for us). We had Elizabeth Appleman helping us, and she really was lovely. We were shown into a small room (typical of jewelry stores) and were brought rings to try on. Elizabeth ran back and forth dozens of times (in heels!) with options, brought us coffee and water, and offered helpful opinions without being too pushy, and we stayed within our budget. My (now) fiancé and I came here to poke around and look at rings one weekend and Deva happened to help us. Not only was she knowledgeable about their selection, but she made us both feel comfortable and so welcome. I wanted a somewhat unique shape plus setting so they didn't have an exact sample, but gave us a great idea of what it could look like. Monica at the Rockville location is great to work with. She is very professional, bubbly and has a great passion for her job. As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed with both arms and she walked me thru all of the designs, gave recommendations, sat me and my mom down, offered us coffee and also took my ring size. Basically, she prepped herself before my bf gets there so, it will be a quick shop. I strongly recommend this location and Monica.

Wonderful experience. We shopped around Maryland prior to coming in here and Mervis was by far the most pleasant experience. We made an appointment and Janette had everything laid out for us and was extremely helpful in the process. She helped us stay within our budget while picking exactly what we wanted.

In the general DMV area, there are a lot of options to buy diamonds. This place has great selection, competitive pricing, and very helpful/knowledgeable employees that aren't pushy at all. Also, their cleaning and repair is quick and thorough.
