This place was very busy. I do like the way they let people know about their orders on the big tv screen and with the pager. Their chicken was good. I had no spice or mild (can't remember) as I don't care for spicy. Hubby had the next one up and he said it wasn't spicy. I got the Mac and cheese and although it had plenty of cheese sauce to it but it had no flavor hardly at all but I may be spoiled by hubby's home made mac and cheese. The pickles are bomb! Dave's Hot Chicken is renowned for its mouthwatering chicken tenders. They're so flavorful and exceptionally juicy, making them the best chicken tenders I've ever had compared to all the hot chicken places popping up around Seattle. However, the only downside is the incredibly slow service. Every time I've visited, the wait time has been a whopping 40 minutes to an hour or more! Taste kind of synthetic with red dye. Overall okay, will not order hot again because of the synthetic color flavor. I want to like it and will try a lower heat level.

They finally have a Dave's Hot Chicken in Federal Way !! The wait times here are actually not too bad compared to the Seattle location, and have a larger seating area, which is always appreciated. The Federal Way graffiti decor is also cool to see. Will definitely be coming back here.

I was not expecting much, you know another fast food restaurant doing some change on something that's already been done. But this was not your usual fast food place. The chicken tenders were juicy and tender. The medium spicy was spicy but I think three added sugar in the mix. It was awesome. The hot slider was great, my stomach could feel the heat.
