They finally have a Dave's Hot Chicken in Federal Way !! The wait times here are actually not too bad compared to the Seattle location, and have a larger seating area, which is always appreciated. The Federal Way graffiti decor is also cool to see. Will definitely be coming back here.

I was not expecting much, you know another fast food restaurant doing some change on something that's already been done. But this was not your usual fast food place. The chicken tenders were juicy and tender. The medium spicy was spicy but I think three added sugar in the mix. It was awesome. The hot slider was great, my stomach could feel the heat. The ketchup mayo mix they put on the sandwich helped extinguish the heat. Overall really good. The only downside was the volume of the music. It was everywhere and almost to th... read more

Finally was able to try the Mozzarella Sticks! They were good and well seasoned. A lot of the reviews complain about the in person wait but I suggest ordering ahead 45 minutes for pick up! That's what I do for all of their locations I've been to and I've had no problems so far.

Dave's Hot Chicken is genuinely really good and lives up to the hype. The chicken is juicy and tender on the inside with a perfectly crispy coating, and the spice levels actually hit the way you expect them to-from mild flavor to serious heat. The seasoning has a bold, savory kick without overpowering the chicken, and the sliders are especially fire with the soft buns, pickles, and Dave's sauce balancing everything out. Portions are solid, the food comes out hot and fresh, and it's a great spot when you're craving something ... read more

I came in on a Saturday morning shortly after they opened. No lines and a bright greeting from the cashier! This location is very big with lots of seatings and high ceilings. They were also serving sample slushies! I ordered a small fruity pebbles topped shake and a two-piece tender (hot). The shake was pretty good! I liked how it wasn't thick, it was like an icee more than a milkshake. It was a savior for my burning mouth.. The chicken tenders were good! Fried right and the hot rub was tasty and spicy! Too bad they were o... read more
