I got my flu shot in December from here, let them know I got my COVID shots and booster, and I'm still asked if I got my flu shot and booster. I said "I got my flu shot from you in December and told you you I got my booster, is it not in my records?" Reply is "yes, it is" so why are you asking if I got my flu shot and my booster? Also getting charged for a depression exam every time I need to fill my antidepressants sucks because "that's just what your insurance charges".

I've been seeing Dr. Lau since she joined the practice. The same day/next day appointments only are very helpful, especially when you are not feeling 100%. It may not be for everyone who likes to schedule their appointments in advance!!! I also love that they have switched to online scheduling for existing patients. For those that complain about the wait time - like any doctor's office, sometimes there is a wait. They are conveniently located off the 101 by Desert Ridge Market Place. Desert Ridge is a tremendously organized operation. Great with appointments. Dr. Perrin, sadly, is an arrogant, self-important doctor that is always looking to the next patient, and has absolutely no great communication skills. I do not feel he is very competent, I am sure others in that practice are.

Stay far away from Acuna. I was in a near lethal car accident and when I went to be seen for potentially life changing complications all of my concerns were waved away without care. My concussion symptoms were ignored, landing me in the Mayo Clinic ER. My pulmonary bruising is slowly starting to get worse and his solution was one of the most feeble stethoscope listens I have ever received. Like a humoring a hypochondriac. I went to have my annual physical. I had no health issues, but during the exam the Dr (Perrin) asked me how I was feeling as far as depression with covid..."fine". Fast forward a couple weeks I get a bill for "depression screening Annual" and I needed to pay $19.21. They charged the insurance $30 to ask me a question? I have been a patient here for about two years. The staff is extremely professional and super friendly. My biggest and only complaint is the wait times, they are incredibly absurd. I will make an appointment, arrive early and will have to wait 10-20 minutes in the room before the doctor even sees me. It seems they are always short on time and in a hurry to leave so it makes the visit feel super impersonal. I hope they fix this issue because it's ridiculous.

I used to drive over 40 minutes each way to see Dr. Gazda. When he was still at the practice, I had no issues with the front desk or getting prescriptions refilled or anything. I called recently to try to switch over to a new primary care (which granted I should have done a few months ago but life has been crazy) and whoever answered the phone was plain rude. I was referred to this practice as we are moving permanently to our second home in the Desert Ridge area. I was a patient at Mayo a couple years ago and met many well qualified professionals including a well established nurse who has stayed in touch with me since my surgery. She recommended this practice as a couple members of her family members go there and like their doctors. dr gazda and his asst ashley were super...the rest of the staff not so much...lied about something i said to a staff member and then said they had to take sides with staff....completely misjudged what i said and we agreed to part ways...glad to be gone...will also echo other review about Dr. Acuna...worst interaction i ever had with a doctor
