I am a foster with Ohana. A kitten I am fostering is sick with a temperature and eye gunk and Ohana sent me to Discovery Bay Veterinary Clinic, this was my first time there. The facility is clean, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the veterinarian who saw my kitten, Dr. Clara Burton, was clearly very knowledgeable and definitely knows her trade and has a passion for it. I have been going to this clinic for many years and Discovery Bay Vet Clinic is by far the best clinic I have taken my pets to! Dr. Gray is very thorough in his exams and explanation of care. He answers all questions and never makes me feel rushed. They offer various Paw Plans to help you save some money on office visits and even dental cleanings, which definitely helps when you have four furry family members at home! I highly recommend Dr. Gray and the Discovery Bay Vet Clinic!

Dr Lao is amazing in every way. She is the kindest, most patient and thorough vet I have ever brought my pets to see. We had to put our cat down recently and my daughter wanted to be there for her kitty's last moments. Dr Lao was so patient and caring with her, always spoke directly to my daughter and made sure she fully understood every step and was comfortable with it before it happened. I highly recommend this veterinary office if you are in the DB area.

We had to put our 15 year old Pomeranian down due to advanced kidney disease and the entire staff was so caring and showed empathy towards our family and dog daughter . Dr. Burton answered all our questions we had and was very kind during this difficult decision our family had to make. We couldn't thank you enough Dr. Burton for all the questions you answered and for treating our Sabiha like she was cared for and making us feel like she was part of our own family. Thanks again

I have a bunny and my vet regular vet was full. They recommended this place. It's in a shopping center so plenty of parking. It has a big clean waiting room. The front office was okay. When it was my turn to go inside the room was nice and big. The vet i don't remember her name was beyond amazing. She took her time really checked my bunny. I never felt rushed and they gave my bunny an Iv. The assistants were also great. I was beyond impressed which the care they give here. I moved to Berkeley but opt to drive an hour back to this clinic as opposed to changing. That's on trust and just how good they are with my pets. I think that's about the highest compliment I can give.

Quick easy scheduling process and I was seen in a timely manner. Friendly and attentive staff all around. Dr. Gray listened to my concerns and answered all my questions that I had. He took the time to explain the reasons for reoccurring lip pyoderma in simple terms and discussed our next steps. Our dog tore her front dewclaw and they were able to get us in the same day to get it removed. The staff were wonderful in working withour very scared dog. We saw Dr Gray and he was very kind and professional. Explained everything very clearly. Very reasonable price and we will definitely be back!
