My wife and I retired, and we are new to Discovery Bay area. We have an outdoor cat, who was most likely bit by another cat, according to Dr. Rich Dietrich's diagnosis. His back leg was very swollen, at the time we noticed it and he stopped moving. We didn't know any veterinarian in the area and I was very worry about cost of service after hearing many stories from other pet owners. I feel very comfortable bringing my kids in to Dr. Dietrich. He listens and asks what seem to be the right questions. You won't be unhappy.
Brought one of our 4 dogs to Discovery Bay Vet for a dental cleaning and some extractions. Dr. Dietrich gave Nala an exam and explained that she may need fewer extractions but he figured the higher price just to make me aware of the bill. The offered me a senior discount, which was great. They called to say she was awake and doing well. They explained, in detail, how to administer her medication when I got home. Said if I had any questions to call them. Very nice staff. These places are never fun but what are you going to do we love our pets. I called last minute and needed shots and a health cert to take my dog to Mexico. They squeezed me in last minute and helped me out. Staff so nice
Our Vet-Clinic of Discovery Bay is one of our place to go to for our Furbabies check-ups or if their sick, Zoger and Zsa-Zsa are Patient here we been coming here for as long as we have pets. One thing We love about this place is the Private no waiting in lines! Our old vets office went out of business in Antioch, so We wer referred here....Our little Chi was attacked by a pitbull 2 weeks ago, and had to be seen at the emergency veternary clinic in antioch...He had to have staples put in his leg. We went here to have them removed and they were absolutely wonderul. The staff is very caring and its a clean facility. They did not even charge us for taking them out. I highly recommend bringing your dog here
