I recently moved from my other vet to Discovery Bay Veterinary Clinic. I love Dr. gray. He is knowledgeable, gentle with pets and doesn't gouge you. I took my dog into see Dr. Gray because I was sure he had some stones in his bladder. Dr. Gray just felt his bladder and said there is no inflammation. Any other Vet would have taken and charged me for x-rays Dr. Gray diagnosed his symptoms with a slipped disc. It fits. I was a bit upset when I had to change from my vet in Antiochn down the street to one about 25 minutes away. However, I am more than thrilled with the service I've gotten at the Discovery Bay location and the extra drive has become well worth it. Dr. Gray is patient and thorough with all 4 of my pets and I am so glad we got to keep him! Aside from that, the staff at this location are truly just incredible. Dr Gray is fantastic! He was great with both our dogs Buttons and Zipper. Buttons was in for his rabbi shot and had a small cyst removed. Zipper tore his ACL and Dr Gray was thorough with explaining the different treatments for his injury. We opted not to do surgery and use anti-inflammatory and rest. He is doing much better. Highly recommend him!

I would recommend DBV. They are friendly and the new Vet is very good. I have been a client for years and the changeover while new and unknown I'd good. I took my older dog with a serious esophagitis issue and a heart murmur and the new Dr. Put him on new Med that will hopefully prolong his life. He took time to explain what was going on with my lil guy. I previously complained but gave it a second chance and glad I did.

What a welcoming experience for my 7 month old rescue Jayke, Pitbull/Akita mix! Every question was answered an he got the best help! Everyone there is so wonderful and loving to my Jayke. I have had other my other pets brought here and wouldn't ever go anywhere else for my pets! They have been there for my Lab with her diabetes and explained her condition and treatments thoroughly! My wife and I retired, and we are new to Discovery Bay area. We have an outdoor cat, who was most likely bit by another cat, according to Dr. Rich Dietrich's diagnosis. His back leg was very swollen, at the time we noticed it and he stopped moving. We didn't know any veterinarian in the area and I was very worry about cost of service after hearing many stories from other pet owners. I feel very comfortable bringing my kids in to Dr. Dietrich. He listens and asks what seem to be the right questions. You won't be unhappy.
