We chose this facility to train my boyfriend's 4-year-old dog. At first, we loved the place, and loved everything they were about and everything they claimed to produce. The main concerns that created a need for training, however, were not addressed, and my boyfriend wound up spending lots and lots of money for minimal results. We contacted the owner after training to discuss our concerns (as she'd suggested we do), but once we were no longer "customers" she didn't respond to the contact. Okay this was a few years back before yelp got as big as it is today. So maybe Doggie District improved since then. Anyway, twice in a row we left our dogs for a day each time. When we picked them up, our Shih Tzu had poop smeared on her. We understand dogs are dogs but they could've at least cleaned the poop off of her before we picked them up. We never returned.

We have been taking our dogs here for over a year now. They are miniature pinschers, so they are small dogs and don't need a lot of maintenance. When we first started coming here, it was $25 for a bath, $5 for teeth brushing, and $5 for dremel nail trim. The last 4 times we've brought our dogs in, the price suddenly skyrocketed. We ask why and they said "that's what we charge", I even asked for an itemized breakdown of the charges and they couldn't give me an answer. This location needs some serious improvement. We have 3 pits and our older one stayed at Doggie District but in a different location that is now closed, and it was a great experience that's why we came back to doggie district. We have to bring our 2 newer dogs to be evaluated and during that day one of our dogs had her collar chewed on by our other dogs, it's not their fault so it was ok, we told them that this typically happens. Workers are nice but not helpful. We brought our dog in and got her back with bites and scratches on her neck. It would have been nice to have been told this instead of figuring it out by ourselves

I am so sorry to hear about the scratches and bites on your baby we have procedures in place (Wellness Checks) so that we ensure that the dogs are not hurt scratched, and or any health issues. It sounds as if we did not catch that before you had picked up your baby, if your baby needed any vet care please provide that bill and we of course will pay it. Doggies pull on ears and necks when playing and there are times this can certainly leave marks scratches etc. Please contact me if you need to discuss this further.
Brought our dog here during the Christmas week because everywhere else was booked. When I brought him in for orientation the people working there was awesome, nice and friendly so I felt welcomed. When I brought him in for his stay for about 8 days, the package that I bought said it came with a picture a day which was awesome because we get to see him everyday. I made reservations and then canceled for the following reasons: About 3 weeks before the date of boarding I filled out about 10 pages of forms along with proof of vaccinations and went in for an orientation. My dog was evaluated and accepted for boarding. A week later I get a call that I need to come in for orientation. It turns out they could not find my filed paperwork. I started off feeling super excited I finally found a place to board my dogs and feel comfortable/not worry when I was away-Doggie District looked great. I spoke w/ Victoria in depth before boarding my dogs, did the orientation, filled out the paperwork in great detail regarding my furry babies and the care they needed. We've left our Golden Retriever at DD about five times over the past couple of years, for anywhere between one night and a week. It seems like every time we've picked him up he's sick. This past Saturday evening we picked him up after staying two days (one night), and the next morning he began throwing up, seven times throughout the day and night. Including blood in the bile.
