Not a bad place to leave your dog, but... I paid for my dog to be washed and he was filthy. I ended up bathing him 2 days later after my skin was breaking out in hives. He was also bitten by another dog pretty bad. We send him to doggie daycare near home 2X per week and he's never had any incidents. He was very anxious and lost weight while there also, that's pretty normal but I think it is an overly stressful environment for dogs that have separation issues already.
As a new client, I've tried calling there 3 times during business hours. Each time, it sends me direct to their voicemail saying I've called outside of business hours. Super frustrating.
This is a day late but I would stay away from this place my dog hasn't stopped shaking since I picked her up..... 1st off I took my dog in on Saturday morning they call me at 230 tell me the groomer had a family emergency & cookie wasn't groomed so my husband picked her up brought her home when I looked at her she had a bald spot where they started to sheve her I was pissed so I called doggie district 3 times no answer so I left a message some guy calls me back he said to bring her in at 9am on Sunday & they will rectify the... read more
Refuse to bring my furkiddo here ever again. Worst experience ever; I still am in shock about it to this day. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. I would not recommend Doggie District. There are so many other Doggie Day cares, daycares that make the pet parent and Pet feel welcome and important. This resort is a very poor choice when it comes to customer service. We made a reservation and then show up to the lady not even knowing we were coming. Then, she tells us after we already spoke to someone about orientation that she needs to do her own for good practice (when you are running late to an airport, probably not the best time for someone to drop that news). We did not end up even boarding here after how unorganized we felt they were and will not be returning.
I have been bring my dog to this place for 4 years and have never encountered such an incompetent staff! I will never supply them with my business of reference again. Highly disappointed! After 2 days of trying to get my dog groomed and his nails trimmed, the service is still incomplete. No offer of a refund was made. I will be speaking with the manager. PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF YOUR PET, DO NOT BOARD THEM HERE!!!!!! I've used this place many times over the last 3 years and have noticed the service has steadily declined. They're inconsistent with the photos, sometimes only sending one over a three day weekend. (They upsell you when you book your boarding to a higher "star" package to include daily photos, activity time, etc.). But really, this is the least of your worries. Ok been taking my dog to this Doggie District location for two years with positive results. However over the last two months we have had multiple issues. The wait times to pick up and drop off are now about 15 minutes, the girl at the desk calls for help and no one comes...THIS WEEK MY DOG CAME HOME WITH AN INJURY!! So we took our pups there over the holiday. We were told we had to do the 4 Star, which was obvious and basic care for your dog but included a photo of your dog at night. Our dogs were there for 4 nights. We received 2 photos and zero explanation when we called to see how our pups were doing. Our dog required daily medication. We noted the amount of medication in the bottle when we dropped him off. He was given 1 dose in four days. This could have killed him, but luckily did not.
