We planned to have our baby stay for 3 nights. This place is DISGUSTING! Staff lied about the suite with tv and a pet bed. She stayed at the common place where there is kennel after kennel after kennel. We picked her up after the next day. She was so lethargic and was so sleepy. We moved her to a decent place. She stayed there for 2 nights. I would NOT recommend Doggie District! It is disgusting and NOT a pet resort as it claims!
I'm actually a bit disappointed in the service here. I was really excited about this place because my dog sitter couldn't make it last minute and they had an opening so I brought in my 3 dogs for boarding. Initially I was grateful that they took them in at the last minute and I left them for 2 nights. I got the 5 star packages because it seem like the one that would give them the most attention (about $300 in total for 2 days) but when I picked them up they didn't seem happy, they were eager to leave. So I rarely add or write reviews. We as my wife and I are truly disappointed with the service we were overcharged for. Let me start by giving them the benefit of the doubt and say we probably have the two toughest dogs to clean and take care of because of there coat. A cotton de tillar (Maltese) and a Shiba. My complaint is if your gonna do a "extra charge" let people know before hand. And if that's the case you need to have a different price sheet on the breed of dog. When we came for the four hour orientation, our 4 month old puppy seemed to love it. However, the following day when I dropped him off for a full day, he whined when they took him in the back. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY FIRST SIGN. When I picked him up after work, he was acting really weird. He wouldn't play. Wouldn't touch his food. Kept crawling in our laps and whining. I left my dog for one night in here. When I picked her up her legs and paws were wet with pee. Do not trust this place to leave your loved one with them!

Last week we took our 4 month old (fully vaccinated) pup here to try it out to allow him to socialize and play with other dogs. Although the staff was friendly enough I had a bad feeling from the beginning when I took the tour. We arrived at 10am and they took our dog back while I completed the paperwork. About 15 minutes later I took the tour. Seriously not impressed. So first off I had gone in for my orientation 3 weeks in advance and made my reservation for around Christmas time. Of course I double check to make sure they had my reservation down; they said yes, during this consultation I make sure to tell them my dog needs to be kept separate from other dogs. I call a few days before to confirm my reservation, they lost it and it never got put in. Was looking for a new place to board my babies for a little cheaper than what I have been paying.. I originally called and received a quote for both of my animals for a 30 day package at $1209 for the four star treatment.. I ended up finding someone to watch one of my dogs and called back to receive a quote for one dog for $30 days and received a quote of $1400 at the four star rate. First I would like to explain that our Lodging packages are designed for one dog however if you have 2 dogs it would make a 30 day package 15 nights for each dog. Horrible place. I left my Boston for two nights. Picked him up with an eye infection and timid of everything. Not to mention full of feces. The least they could of done was clean him up. Do yourself right and NEVER I repeat NEVER bring your pet here.
