My dog needed to have a cystoctomy done. I have a regular vet but called Dr. Kelly's because they had preformed the same procedure a year and a half ago. They quoted substantially less money so I scheduled it. After driving 45 minutes to the Scottsdale location, we were told they could not preform the procedure because he has stress seizures. I took my dog to the Mesa location to be spayed. It is quite a distance from our home, but I thought it was worth it. Unfortunately, the communication was poor. When I dropped her off at 9:30am they told me it would take 4-5 hours and they would be closing at 3:00pm. My children had appointments that ran long, so all of us rushed back to pick up the dog at 3:00. You people are not 100% transparent with pricing. You don't disclose everything during the appt or at check-in, it's when I come to pick up the dog and look at the bill that I know what I am being charged for. $91 for IV added to dental cleaning and requiring IV is bullshit. Another reviewer said you do the "bait and switch" game, you quote low and add on $$ after. Shame on you.

DO NOT GO HERE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! THEY ARE A BAIT & SWITCH business. THEY CANT EVEN SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT THE FIRST TIME YOU CALL. YOU NEED TO CHASE THEM. RED FLAG! MY BAD FOR CALLING THEM! I absolutely love these people they're very good to our dogs. But they are impossible to get an appointment in the East Valley. Three times now I was told to call back at a "specific time on a specific day" and I did that... to the very minute. For the third time again, I cannot get an appointment because they don't have any. I don't understand why they can't schedule more than one week at a time. It's very unfortunate and it's very discouraging and does reflect poorly on their scheduling abilities I guess. Changing my review. Unfortunately, this crew has changed drastically in the last couple years. I struggle with getting true information and feedback, we are told that things like bloodwork is able to be declined, but then when we decline it, we are told "oh, sorry, it's actually required" and the reason is some wishy-washy "the doctor thought it was a good idea" but with no backup or reasoning. This is a money grab! They give a low estimate over the phone, and then once they are finished, there are 5 or 6 extra charges that were never discussed on the phone. My dogs visit was more than double the phone quote. Also, they did a pre op look and said I should expect 1 extraction. I later got a call recommending 5 more extractions. She had her teeth cleaned not long ago with X-rays and all looked good. So I asked if they could quickly email me the X-rays to see what the problem is with these other 5 teeth. If I could I'd do zero stars. After confirming my appt via text with my dogs name, breed, WEIGHT, and age (5-6yrs old) I used PTO to take my German Shepard 30 min away from home for a dental cleaning. I explicitly told them how much my dog weighed (around 130lbs) they did not give any signs that there would be any issues. I get to my appt and they weigh my large German Shepard at 134lbs. I will never go back here. The staff that I dealt with had no bedside manner and kept misgendering my cat EVEN WHEN THEY WERE WORKING ON HER. Wth?!?! They call me and says 'your cat has not been cooperative while trying to do her dental'. She's a cat. She's scared. Should this be something they're prepared for?!?
