Won’t touch E-Mortgage Capital on any further transactions. Not because of the team that worked the details of my refinance, as they were good, but for the loan officer/Vice-President (Steve Lopez) and the CEO (Joe Shalaby). Steve Lopez made the verbal/written promises of $500 discount after closing. I closed on 3 March 2021 and after 9 emails and countless calls over two months regarding the $500 discount all I got was repeated lies and deceit. More communication regarding status would have been helpful.
Started out with a different lender and 5 months later with no results switched to E Mortgage. Closed in a month.
Nancy should learn to listen to customers when the call for question regarding their mortgage transaction. She took our call but refuised to speak with use regarding our mortgage. Why will she but her infiormation on the document to call her witrh questions, and wehen we did she completely refused to sopeak with us, stating she is the manager.
I never once spoke with her. Everything was through email
1. Fix your website so when people submit requested documents they only have to do it once. 2. Train your people so they do a better job of understanding the documents they have received. After everything was said and done, I found out that after my escrow closed, two sources of income had not been submitted to the under writer making qualification way more difficult than it needed to be. 3 . Improve communication between your people and customers.
Cost me about 5,000 more last time after a horrible experience with Freedom. I was promised it would not happen and my agent kept his word. I don't recommend Penny Mac or Freedom Mortgage but Mr Santos is the best....!!
The processor was great. Kevin made me feel as though my questions and concerns were wasting his time and let me know I should be embarrassed by my credit. I would never use him again or refer him to anyone.
