I had no contact with Eric Hines, so I was really dumbfounded by this survey.
Tony Yu is who I worked with and Tony was amazing. 5 stars, 10 out of 10. But when the loan was funded, the wire into my account was less than on the closing documents that we signed. When asked, they told us that they received the docs late Thursday, and couldn't get the things done in time to fund by Monday. The Fed Ex tracker shows docs delivered at 10:20 am on Thursday. There was no notice of the change to us, as if they hoped we wouldn't notice.
It would have been a better experience just working with Justin. Instead, most of the experience was working with his “executive assistant” Natalie which was not good. Her lack of professionalism and organizational skills were very evident and that’s why we would not recommend this company, We would recommend for Justin to hire a different assistant to help him out.
Communication by both phone/text and email
I requested $10,000 cash out and my request for this was ignored. After the first documents were prepared I asked where the cash out was and then was told I'd have to get a different loan with a higher rate. Then I was told that I would get almost $9000 back going with the loan they prepared. Well guess what, it ended up being under $6000 so I had to take out a personal loan to make up the difference. very disappointed.
I have had such a difficult time with this company, my paycheck showed PTO initially and my loan officer kept on stating that the underwriter cant approve the loan because I am not full time. I even got my manager to send them a email but still there was so much back and forth that it's crazy. My loan officer was Julia Restrepo, save your time and energy because you will receive the headache of your life dealing with them. They promise you the moon but never delievr.
