Did our mortgage and our refinance with Phil and his team. Both closed with no issues and we couldn't be happier with our new rate. We shopped around and he had the lowest rates available.

A lot of run around. Zero communication. No one seemed to know what was going on. Calls, texts and emails consistently (more than once) went unreturned. Was told things would take 2 weeks, took 2 months, no one even said “hey sorry” I just always seemed like I was inconveniencing someone. The people were very nice when I spoke to them but impossible to reach or get a straight answer from. Nice people, unpleasant experience

Communication was very poor. Had to ask questions multiple times before could get an answer. Multiple reps of company asked numerous times for same documentation. Refinance started beginning of June, did not get finalized until mid Sept. Had to follow up multiple times through the process to see where refinance stood in the process. Home insurance did not get taken care of and got cancelled.

A simple refi and whole transaction was quite unpleasant from beginning to end. Initial disclosures incorrect all the way to incorrect closing disclosures requiring a 2nd closing appt. Constant reasons/excuses as to why all the errors kept occuring. Throwing his staff under the bus. Didn't appreciate that. Tempted to not sign and not give him the business. It was not deserved. Last words from Justin, I will make this situation right for you. Never heard back from the day I signed.

- Attention to detail, the loan officer forgot to update our marital status on the deed. It still says 'Unmarried'. Getting a document to fix the issue took 3 weeks & I had to send more than 6 follow up emails to get it. I am not sure if that will even work - Make sure communication is consistent throughout the process. At the beginning, it was great but after signing loan estimates it went downhill. I had to email the loan officer two or three times to get a response to simple questions.
