The time comes when the pet you love comes to the end of their days. We are so thankful that,at a time such as this, we went to East Ventura Animal Hospital. They were caring, and tender toward us as we said farewell to our cat Clio. Each one of the crew there was really helpful and caring. Dr. Martinez, in particular, was a blessing to us at this time. So thankful for them!

Great place! Dr. Fowell is extremely friendly and really experienced. She figured out what was wrong with my dog's legs after I talked to two other doctors at another clinic. Really great staff as well! Thanks!

Our girl Baja is a 15 year old shepherd/collie mix. Wendy at the front desk treats her like one of her own. Dr. Fowell has known Baja for many years and always treats her well. Recently, Dr. Bohman has seen her on a few occasions and is also amazing and has made wonderful recommendations. The staff are courteous and always follow up with a phone call after a visit. Online medication refills are promptly filled. I would recommend EVAH to anyone.

Dr. Martinez and his staff are without a doubt the very best any where! They are friendly, professional, compassionate and truly care about your pet. Every visit is smooth and easy. Our dog loves the staff and greets them happily. He never balks about going inside. He appreciates them too! Thank you for being there for us!

I have been going to EVAH 13 years and haven't had too many disappointments in all that time. If I were to do a pro and con situation the pros would outweigh the cons 9 to 1. I like the fact that they have multiple well-trained, professional and friendly veterinarians. In an emergency situation, where my animal needs to be seen NOW, I never have the problem of a vet to see them. The staff always showers my dog with love & attention. I was referred here by BUNS (Bunnies Urgently Needing Shelter) Santa Barbara. They recommended Dr. Fowell as a vet for my bunnies. I found her to be extremely knowledgable and to have genuine care for my bunnies. I'm a very pick bunny mom when it comes to vets, and have been disappointed in the past when I know MORE than the vet about bunny issues, treatment, etc. That is not the case with Dr. Fowell! I have been bringing my pets to this practice over 11 years and have yet to have a negative experience. The front desk staff is friendly and professional. The vets and their staff are always thorough, gentle, and take the time to explain the treatment plan and answer any questions you may have. They don't pressure you to do unnecessary tests and give you options without making you feel guilty if you can't afford to do something. I was so insanely impressed by the level of service and professionalism during my visit here earlier today. In past veterinary offices I have taken other pets to, I have felt as if my questions were brushed off, or deemed as not important. At the East Ventura Animal Hospital, I felt confident that all of my questions were answered, and didn't feel rushed to finish up inquiring about my new pup's health. Amazing staff, amazing service. I will certainly make this my vet of choice from here on out.
