Doctor Bohman is awesome. She helped my senior cat who was having some problems with arthritis, but too far along in his kidney disease to take the usual steroids to help. They are friendly and efficient here, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this veterinarian to anyone in the Ventura area.

I had an excellent experience at the EVAH today. My dog, Penny (a pembroke welsh corgi) was treated with care and love, and Dr.Bowman and the staff were a joy to be with. Dr. Bowman examined Penny and knew a great deal about Corgi's and has an excellent bedside manner. I was impressed to hear that the clinic has 4 doctors on staff, and the facility is very professional while maintaining a very comfortable "at home" feel. Thank you for everything, and we are confident that our best friend will receive excellent care.

Most of my reviews are of restaurants. But I can't help but review a place that is not only a five minute walk from my house, but has helped me through a few major tragedies with their professionalism and personal touch. I've had two ill cats and a dog I've brought there. Each time I've gotten excellent consultations and no B.S. advice in regards to some very difficult issues. Have been to this office several times and would recommend to ANYONE!!! The front desk staff is second to none and upon entry will make you and your pet feel right at home. My dog (Chopper) was REALLY sick and they showed him so much love (including finding that secret place under his chin that makes him melt when scratched) I think he almost felt better right away. Dr. Fowell at East Ventura Animal Hospital was recommended to me when I discovered Max had hip displaysia at 5 years old. Max is now 16 years old and we are dealing with end of life issues. The Veterinarians and staff have always been exceptionally caring and professional with me and Max. I can't imagine anything they could do to make me feel better about the treatment of my beloved dog.

I brought my kitty to the East Ventura Animal Hospital about two months ago and we very happy with the service I received. My appointment was a bit of an emergency (my kitty was in a lot of pain) and the staff squeezed me in very quickly. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The vet was patient, kind and knowledgeable. We were bummed to hear that Dr. Baker was no longer seeing patients. We (including our lab Bailey) have loved seeing him over the years. Our disappointment quickly vanished upon meeting Dr. Kelly. She is also amazing! We appreciated her thoroughness, candor, care, and professionalism. She gave us options for several conditions we were dealing with, but did not try to push any meds on our dog. We've been taking our dog and cats to EVAH for 10 years and the doc's are compassionate, understanding and real people. Everyone hopes that the day will never come when you'll have to euthanize a pet, but the vet there was very supportive and understanding when we had to do so. We've run the who gamit from spay and neuter to stitches and tick removal, all very professionally performed and no issues afterwards. I have been going to the East Ventura Animal Hospital for 15+ years and I can truly say all the doctors are caring and very good. Dr. Fowell has been my vet for many of those 15 years and I have been very impressed with her caring and diagnostic abilities. With that said, all the doctors and staff make me feel my pet is part of their extended family and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Anthony Ventura
