I have had my guinea pig in and out of vet offices and was not pleased with how they all kept not giving him proper treatment and I was referred here. I am extremely pleased with how they actually gave him the proper treatment plan for his illness. They even set up check up appointments which no other vet even asked to do. The staff is all Super friendly and Dr. Fowell is amazing and so nice. I will be referring all friends and family to her for now on.

Now I take my new dog, Gus English Bull Terrier, to Dr Fowell and we still love her! Dr Fowell has been out vet for 20 years and she is amazing!

The doctors and staff are very professional. Our dog doesn't mind going there, which is nice. All of the pets that I see in the waiting area seem at ease. That says a lot since I've heard of a lot of animals being scared of the vet.

I have worked at zoos and private animal facilities for years, so I'm pretty careful about the vet care I give my personal animals, and I love East Ventura Animal Hospital. Dr Fowell is such a good vet! She really cares about animals and takes the time to listen to you about your pet. The care you get at this hospital is really top notch, but their pricing is reasonable and comparable if not cheaper than other hospitals. Front staff is great as well, everyone there seems sweet.

I have taken a total of 4 cats and 6 dogs here for all of their medical care over the past 20 or so years and have seen several different EVAH vets during that time. I have always been impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and sincere concern about my pets. I have always felt my pets were given excellent medical care. Staff were always very compassionate during difficult times. Two of my dogs were 17+ years old when they passed and two of the cats were 15+ so they lived long healthy lives. East Ventura Animal Hospital was wonderful during the long treatment of my cat's kidney disease. Their staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. I'm glad that they provided care for my beloved cat during such a hard time.

Only been here for my kitten. We noticed in January that he had sort of spasms and I was afraid it was seizures, but hoped I was being over dramatic. Took him in and Dr. Pelayo (sp?) was incredibly kind and patient. My kitten is a love bug so he was running around purring and let him run around while we spoke. She let me tell her everything at my own pace even though my thoughts were jumbled. She told me it sounded like seizures and offered to do one test at a time to keep costs down. The East Venture Animal Hospital is a wonderful place to bring your pets in sickness and in health. I have been taking mine there for over 20 years. Although currently I only have one cat they have cared for, healed, and loved a number of my furry babies over the years. I almost always see Dr. Fowell and think the world of her (my minimal experiences with Dr. Bohman, and others have all been reassuring and pleasant as well). I read the review from Hashani S and totally disagree with everything said about Dr. Fowell & the East Ventura Animal Hospital. Dr. Fowell has been my vet for many years. Her expertise and compassion are second to none. We have laughed together & cried together. I trust her with the most important thing in my life...... My fur babies!!!
