I cannot say enough good things about this rehab hospital. The care I received was top-notch. I felt genuinely cared for by every member of the staff that I had contact with. You can tell that they really love their job, and the company they work for, it shows in how they care for their patients. I was there for some physical therapy rehab. I have osteoarthritis and I've been losing muscle mass so the PT and OT team really did a great job of helping me regain some muscle and learning how to use some of the disability tools ... read more

I was admitted following extensive surgery for oral cancer. Very clean facility. Amazing, friendly staff who ensure your comfort and control your pain without over medicating. Therapy staff is dedicated and knowledgeable. Case worker goes beyond expectations to ensure both your stay and transition to home go smoothly.

I believe from the time of admissions Megan has been an angel for recommending this facility besides the nightmare we experienced at Center at Parmer!! It was like day to night to be honest! The compassion and care came a long way I finally felt like I could breath after all of this. The only thing I will say is that some days felt "rushed" with some of the nurses I know they care for 7-8 at times some days with short staff if they def had more assistance through the day shift I feel like it would help them a little more. The staff at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Austin are very customer service oriented. Everyone was so nice and extremely helpful. I was especially blown away by my interaction with Brooke(who I believe holds the title as a liaison/social worker). I contacted them to try and get a family member admitted there for therapy, and although they weren't approved, Brooke was very knowledgeable and did an amazing job on educating me on how the insurance works with rehab centers and what information I'd need in order to ... read more
