This place took amazing care of me for 3 weeks after a bad car accident a couple of years ago. When I left the hospital they said it would be 4-6 months before I would walk again but with the help of Desert Canyon, and some outpatient care I was walking unassisted in 3 months. There were days I didn't want to get out of bed for PT. They would just come back an hour later and try again. I cannot say enough good things about this rehab hospital, they were just amazing. I was admitted here from the hospital to undergo physical therapy after a stroke left my right leg very weak and I had difficulty standing. Jean the nurse who was there when I was admitted was so kind and understanding it truly made me feel better about being there. My sister was a patient here for quite a while after an accident and needed extensive care for complex orthopedic and spine injuries and rehab to walk again. She finally got to go home last night able to walk and on the path to recovery. She is going to have a normal life again in large part thanks to the great care and dedication of the team here who vigilantly helped her avoid any of the major complications possible from her accident and surgeries. The best place in the Valley! My mom was here trice already and we would always have this place as #1 choice. Nurses: A+ They are really caring and passionate about their work. CNAs: A+ They work hard and always available to help. Very friendly and helpful. PTs, OTs, STs: A++ Dr.s: C Never seen one or talked with one (except dr. This facility was very clean and beautiful! More spa like than hospital. The entire staff was friendly, professional and treated me with the utmost of respect. The meal choices were varied and if possible special requests were accommodated. Although too numerous to mention everyone I would like to give a special shout out to: Juanita - who treated me with kindness and respect throughout the nights.
