One of my family members has been in Desert Canyon several times, following surgeries, etc. Great care from kind and caring professional. The gym is outstanding, and the entire setting of the facility is designed to look as non-clinical as possible, with spacious private rooms, and patios and an atrium, as well as a large stone fireplace in the entrance.

I was inpatient there for 10 days following triple bypass surgery about 1 month ago and was treated with complete respect by ALL staff. I worked very hard while I was there and didn't wait around for treatment but looked forward to moving and walking. I used pain management to get me thru some tough days and couldn't have received better care anywhere else. I was extremely impressed!!! Discharge planning was great. Our elderly mom was very well taken care of, very professional & considerate staff, ultra attentive. The facility is spotless and the decor/ furnishing are very calming and pleasing. Also, when not in therapy - my mom enjoyed eating in the dining room and meeting new people. This socialization was also very good for keeping spirits up and feeling engaged. Plus, the food is great here. This was her third rehab hospital, so we had other rehabs to compare/contrast. By far, HealthSouth is superior. Her case manager, Lydia was ... read more

Huh there is not a shared bathroom between rooms which I know for a fact. Stayed here for rehabilitation after my fall. Had great customer service and a lot if students who were super nice and friendly. I got a parade the last day which felt a bit awkward but really good at the same time. The pharmacy students were very friendly and informative.

Sitting in my grandmas rehabilitation room. I haven't seen her happier than she is now in the past eleven years. They know what their patients need and they make no excuses to getting it done. She hasn't worked out since her stroke 12 years ago but they have highly trained doctors, nurses, and therapists on staff to get her to do what she needs to do to get better. I can't give enough praise to this clinic.
