This place helped save my life. I spent 22 days in ICU after a car accident. Then 8 days on the hospital floor. After 30 days in bed on a liquid diet I could barely walk. I wanted to go home but I knew I couldn't. Health South was a great experience. They helped me get myself back together. I still wear the green band I earned after racing my walker in the hallway to earn permission to use the bathroom by myself. I've never met so many people who loved their jobs and genuinely cared about me, the client/patient.

I broke my hip and when it came time to pick a rehab place I was overwhelmed. I didn't want to go to a place that looked like a nursing home or care center. My nurse at the hospital told me this place was perfect for me. Wow was she ever right. First thing you notice is how clean and light it is, second thing is how nice everyone is - not talking insincere nice, just happy that you are there. Waited to review until my mom was completely discharged about our experience. This is moms second admission here and this was our first choice for rehab facility from Banner Desert. My mom was here 6 years ago and had a great experience. My moms stay was 15 days for rehab and she did so well and exceeded the therapists goals at her age. My mom had a couple favorite RN, but especially Jillian. She was extra special to my mother. When you think of hospitals or "facilities" you think that the food wont be good, however ... read more

I love this place! I stayed almost two weeks after a bad car accident. Each and every person of the staff from nurses to the cafeteria were amazingly helpful, considerate and nice. Anytime you have a situation where you need rehabilitation, you should go here.

This faciliy was my second choice and I'm so happy my first choice was not available. Awesome facility. The staff is amazing - when the wait staff came to introduce themselves to me and welcome me to their care, I was truly impressed. I want to take the doctor's Dr. Bob & Dr. Higgins with me for my 24 hour personal care. They have been extremely helpful, compassionate and knowledgeable. Their care helped me to improve so I could go home quicker. I love the assigned case manager to ensure current care and after care is comp... read more
