Mom fell again. Due to the nature of it the hospital said a skilled nursing facility was not enough. This was one of the options they gave us, and I received a recommendation for them, so this is where she went. The facility looks like a hospital. The room was relatively spacious with features typical of a hospital. Mom said the staff was great. From my limited interactions with them I would say they seemed on top of things. All I can say is it's a wow wow wow Place! Everyone is so professional and totally on their game. My husband had a mini stroke and needs physical therapy and occupational therapy speech therapy and they are addressing some medical issues that I didn't even know my husband had. place is so clean, the food is so delicious and family members can stay and eat for about 350 to 4 dollars with their loved ones. I was sold when I was told by a friend that she "LOVED" this rehab hospital. How often do you hear someone say they LOVE their rehab hospital? Like, NEVER. After my mother had a tragic fall and broke her femur, we didn't think twice about where she was going as we had heard about Encompass previously. This place is like the Disneyland of Rehab Centers. We LOVE this place! If you are in need of an excellent rehab, this is it. My husband and I brought my mother in law here from a hospital in Chico Ca. She is 80 and was living alone when she fell and broke her ankle. She was in skilled nursing for 2 months and had a stroke there. She was very depressed and had lost 20 lbs. She couldn't eat the food. After the stroke, She was transferred to the hospital. From there we brought her to be closer to us here in Arizona. I was lucky to find Encompass. I have had outpatient rehab for a total hip replacement at this facility three times. My therapists have been Elizabeth and Tyler. I have also had two assistants, Brenda and Ryan. I must also mention the student, Clay. Each and every one of them have listened to me, adjusted my sessions to meet my growing strength and shared my joy at having my quality of life returned.
