Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sunrise was incredible in providing care to my mom. The staff was compassionate and patient as she progressed in her stay. She improved tremendously in her goals and we greatly appreciated the hardworking teams that worked with her along the way. It is always hard to recall every persons name but everyone from the therapists to the nurses were tremendous. She really enjoyed working with the therapy team!!

Best rehab facility. Everything was clean and Covid Safe and I'm very picky. I knew the plan every step of the way. Stacy Thomashaw is incredible at what she does and keeps the communication open and honest. Integrity is important in this industry and I would recommend Encompass to anyone looking for a rehabilitation facility post-surgery or after a hospital stay.

I am a 67 year old male who had a tumor removed from my spine I was recommended this facility by my team of doctors and my own neuro surgeon as a no nonsense serious center to get you back to where you want to be. The facility is modern very clean and the staff has programs in place with systems to achieve your goals like with anything in life you must take responsibility to get yourself in the direction you want. Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital Of Sunrise is the best Rehab Center.They have the best Cognitive/Speech Therapists,&,Physical Therapists. The Therapists care a lot for their patients. They do their all to help their patients. I love this Rehab Center. If you need a Rehab Center to go to this is the one to come to.

My mom was diagnosed with Guillain Barre and was hospitalized for 3 weeks then was discharged to Encompass for another 3 weeks. As a nurse myself, this was one of the hardest things to endure. I worried about her overall care, hygiene, feedings and mostly therapy to get back to a sense of normal for herself. Rest assured, she felt well taken care of. Encompass Health, formally HealthSouth, is a rehabilitation hospital specializing in Stroke rehabilitation, hip fractures,brain and spinal cord injuries. They offer impatient and outpatient services for other disabilities but do make sure that your specific condition is included in their program. Every speciality of medicine, therapy and all of the services you receive at a hospital can be continued while at this rehabilitation hospital. Back when they were Healthsouth, after my carpal tunnel surgery, I had 3 times a week for 4 weeks outpatient therapy. They did amazing work. They were always on time. The facility is spotless. The therapists and ancillary staff really take pride in what they do. I've recommended dozens of people for their outpatient and inpatient therapy. This place is hands down the best!

Thank You Health South! My 90 year old mother fell and broke her shoulder. South Health took such great care of her from Dr. Cardenas, the CNA's Paulette, Cecelia just to name a few, the nurses, the Physical Therapists and to Kairsten the case manager who kept me up to date and was always available if I had a question. Also the ladies at the front receptionist desk. The place was so clean. Thank you again! The Nichols family!
