This place had exceptional customer service. Any worry I had, they had it covered! The storage units are storage units with some being much fancier if you pay for it. The design of the location enables easy entry AND exit. They have complimentary carts to use and I was never without at least one. The staff is pleasant and informed and it is in a great secluded location where you won't feel panicked going in and out but also right off the 8 freeway enabling easy access.The way in which it is built allows air flow as it utili... read more

Great location. Staff was wonderful and helpful when we had a glitch in our paperwork. They went out of their way to make things work for us. Clean facility. Good security. A lot less "sketchy" people than some other storage facilities in the area.

Wellllllll I never wanted to have to use a storage space to begin with, so I'll try not to let that tarnish my review. Extra Space was pricier than I would have liked, but overall they did the job "A-OK" Pros: - Pretty close to Ocean Beach - where I live so not too far of a commute. - Parking near the elevators was never a problem on my visits. - None of my stuff got wet, moldy, frozen, melted, burned up in a freak fire or stolen. - The property has gates and elevators with codes, so access is limited. - Music in the ha... read more

This is my second time storing at PS and just as before they made this part of my move easy & painless. Heather was efficient & knowledgeable ... got my paperwork done & had me out of there in a half hour. Easy internet billing/payment, clean facility & friendly staff. Thanks PS

Rented 2 spaces here for 6 months. My only complaint is that the elevator near my spaces was VERY slow going down and the doors closed almost immediately after they were opened which made it a real challenge when trying to bring in more than 1 item. Otherwise everything was GREAT, including the employees. Especially Sara in the office and Pablo the Maintenance man. Both GREAT people.

Was back in SD for a few months and in and out of the facility trying to downsize my stuff. Can't believe all the negative reviews I see here. Yes, the drive throughs on the ground floor are low, but they're wide enough for 2 vehicles to park side by side. I've moved from unit to unit on the 2nd and 3rd floors and never had a problem moving furniture - okay, trying to get a 6-7' bookcase laying down on the cart thru the turns was a bit of a hassle. More because I couldn't steer the cart smoothly enough to get it in position... read more
