Michael at this location is great! He was helpful and showed me more than one unit so I could be sure that all of my belongings would fit in the right storage unit. I got the perfect space for my stuff and even though I didn't plan on it, ended up moving my things in after 9:00 pm and couldn't figure out the light, Michael came out and showed me how it works. I rented a space there less than a month ago but so far the experience has been great! Manager Michael and assistant manager Zachary have been attentive, extremely accommodating, and fast to respond.

Thru-out my experience with this company and with this facility I;ve been treated with the utmost respect, always with a smile, and readt to help me with MY needs. They are also a one stop shop for all your move-in needs and I like that.

Today started with a phone call from Hannah Huss saying that I was "caught dumping" at the facility last night and would be fined $75.00. I explained this was outrageous, asked to see security footage, and had to drive there to confirm the fact that I was not the bald man in the Chevy Excursion dumping trash. It is their protocol to call and reprimand before doing any checking on the information I had on file.

These people bring you in at a decent rate, then they jack up the price at least $100 a month a few months in( with ZERO warning) $1200 more per year. Go anywhere else.

Two years ago I rented a unit. For the third year the price is $1000 more than the first year, which is outrageous. Especially since they erred on the accounting when I decided to give up my unit. It took all day for accounting to straighten out. Often the office is locked (with no apparent reason) when help is needed. It has become less clean, with junk outside the building. I found the manager on site difficult to communicate with every time. I would never use them again.

I've had a dramatic relationship with Extra Space Storage in Santa Cruz which is a unusual for something as simple as a storage unit. I was blamed for breaking their elevator because I knocked the side of it with a cart (as the door closed too fast). The woman who manages the place pointed out that it was caught on camera, but oddly didn't offer to provide me the footage or show me the proof. Any one else get a rate increase notification this week? My rent is going from $171 to $251 in a month. I understand that there will be increases, but $80? The sad thing is that the people are great and facilities clean, but the rate hike is forcing me out. They really are doing customers dirty!
