Rosa helped us at the Hawaiian gardens location and was wonderful!! We felt really bad because we got there a few minutes before the office closed but she didn't rush us in any way. She took her time showing us our options and was very friendly! I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of a storage unit

Very pleasant and a great deal. They keep very clean. I am very pleased with ESS in Hawaiian Gardens and the location is only a mile away.

I just moved in a couple of weeks ago and the management is very helpful, the complex is very clean and it is very comforting to know that the Management is on-site. I have had storage units in the past at a different place, so I know what to look for. So far, I am very pleased and happy with Extra Space Storage in Hawaiian Gardens.

I haven't made the decision yet but my experience so far has been great. I walked in and asked Elaine about the units avlb and she told me then asked if I wanted to see them I said yes, she dropped everything she was doing, locked up the office and we headed out in the golf cart. She explained how it worked, I have never had a storage space before. She made me feel very comfortable and reserved me a great deal!

I've had no complaints about them until the time I vacated my unit. The office staff was friendly, and the location was close to my home. I called the office a few days before my rent was due and told the person that we're moving out a couple of days after my rent is due and asked him how much I need to pay for the two days. He said it was OK and that I didn't need to pay. Great, I thought. Then a few days after I move out, I get an email from them saying that I'm past due on my rent. I have been with them for a few months now & I'm liking my experience. They were upfront about every charge & the girls in the office were very friendly. The facilities are well kept (although I haven't been in the restrooms). They are very reasonably price, for the 10 x 20 I'm paying almost $150 less than other facilities I priced out in the area & the unit is really good. I'm a happy customer.

*RENTERS BE AWARE* This location is known by Lakewood PD to have units raided and items stolen. This location has outdated CCTV equipment , only covering select areas and only holding 27 days of footage. The reporting process and actually getting PD to investigate surpasses this timeframe and almost feels like they are very much aware of this. Dear Customer Relations, I am writing to report an issue that occurred today at your Hawaiian Gardens location, involving both a billing error and unprofessional conduct. I was in the process of making a payment of $1,600 and chose to split the transaction. I initially paid $1,100 using my debit card.
