I had a large splinter deep in the center of my ring finger on the inside by my middle joint. I checked in and was seen within 15 minutes! The Doctor numbed my finger well and made a small cut to try to get at the splinter. It just wouldn’t give. She tried for almost 2 hours. Not wanting to make the cut larger due to tendons and ligaments in the area, she finally gave up and sent me to the ER. She gave it her all! The ER doc couldn’t get it out either.
