I was visiting from Houston and had the misfortune of being really sick on Easter, 3/31/13, but had the good fortune to choose this clinic. The staff was welcoming, the wait time short, and Gerald Chan had such a great bedside manner that I let him know. Although i have health insurance, I didn't feel like that was their primary concern, but that my well-being was. I highly recommend this clinic, and I know my sister and her family will be going there in the near future.

EXTREMELY poor service, providers/ma's are extremely racist, sitting on their phones all day whilst patients are waiting, unfairness/racism throughout the visit, POOR QUALITY DOCTORS. Slander/libel for certain employees. It's extremely unprofessional and unfairness throughout the entire workplace. PLEASE do not go here. I called to reschedule an appointment and was put on hold twice by two separate people. They hung up on me while i was on hold and didn't pickup when i called back.

I made an appointment for 2:50, after checking with the medical assistant at 3:15pm, I was told that they take patients in the order of check in. My question, why take appointments? A waste of time for employed individuals and others.

This place is horrendous. Avoid at all cost. Made an appointment for 5:40pm just to be told they are behind 2 hours and I might not be seen tonight. This isn't the first time either. Same issues, different day.

If you make an online appointment, you'll still have to wait a couple of hours to be seen. My child's appointment was at 10:30. We arrived at 10:00 just to wait 3.5 hours.

Walking into this urgent care felt less like a clinic and more like Jerry Springer without the security. Staff were openly talking about patients and airing out workplace drama loud enough for the waiting room to be the studio audience. Confidentiality? Nonexistent. Professionalism? Missing in action. The only saving grace was Sharon, the nurse, an absolute gem and the perfect calm at the end of a circus...

Once again we used the "make an appointment online" option. My wife and son get there for a 3:45 appointment, was told it would be a 1 hour wait. After 2.5 hours after not being seen my wife spoke with the receptionist and was told "even though you made an appointment, that doesn't guarantee your time, it gets you a reservation." Not only that, she was also told "we have people here for drug tests and other things that don't require them to see a provider. So if they walk in they to the front of the line". I would never recommend this place. It is not an urgent care. It masquerades as one but prioritizes the quick money- sports or employment physical patients over any urgency. They offer appointments, then tell patients they're just time-slots, not appointments. That, although the very confirmation they send calls it an appointment. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere like Carolina Quick Care, or any true urgent care of you need medical help and don't want to wait hours past your appointment time in an ice cold room.
