Was skeptical after reading some reviews but my experience was excellent! Elizabeth on the front desk staff was very pleasant and welcoming and the young lady Sharifa that did my triage was also very patient and thorough...the Dr Mr Caceres was efficient and had a great table side manner keep up the good work!

I took my son here on Tuesday Mar 8 because he had a fever, cough and body aches. My experience at the visit was fine. It was 2 days later, while trying to obtain another doctor's note for an excused absence, that's when I had the issue. The PA who saw my son on Tuesday made the doctors note for 2 days and stated that if I needed it longer to just come back. I took my son to the Hickory, NC FastMed as he forced his ring on the wrong finger and we were unable to get it off. We were seen by one of the PA's, but unfortunately she was unable to cut the ring off due to it's material make up. She told us she was unable to do anything and the office proceeded to tell us there wouldn't be any charges since they were unable to help. I used the online check in option. My appointment was at 1230 so I arrived at 1215 at stated online. I wasn't taken to the back until after 115. I then waited an additional hour to see a Physician Assist. The service didn't seem any faster than the other urgent cares. The online check in feature is nice but if the appointment times aren't realistic this just seems like a nice marketing tool. I have been to this Fastmed location twice. Once when my son was sick and another time for him to have a physical for summer camp. Both times everyone was friendly, personable and fast. The office is clean and we were never treated as an inconvenience that they would "get to" when they had time. We've been to 3 other Fayetteville urgent care centers over the past 5 years or so - and none even come close to this one!
This facility is kind of far from my house but I've learned it's worth the drive. We have tried other urgent care places in Fayetteville with undesirable experiences. All of the staff was so friendly and eager to help. The wait was a little long but that's to be expected with any urgent care. Overall I would recommend FastMed to anyone!
I visited yesterday because they are open on Sundays. I had spent Saturday sitting in a different Urgent Care waiting for 1 1/2 hours and didn't even have my name called to go to the counter for paperwork. FastMed was a breath of fresh air! The office is nice; beautifully decorated, I was greeted when I walked through the door, and was able to fill out paperwork immediately. The experience was as pleasant as a doctor's visit could be. The staff and care are exceptional!!!
